The Law and The Testimony of The LORD

September 12, 2017- Tuesday-# 476 Daily Morning Bible Reading and Meditation- Psalm 19 KJV

***The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. ***

[1] The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

[2] Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.

[3] There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.

[7] The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.

[8] The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.

[9] The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.

[10] More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

[14] Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord , my strength, and my redeemer.

Words to ponder for today:
The Law and The Testimony of The LORD

Word for word, it is clear, simple and easy to be understood.
The Psalmist simplified the writings of his thoughts about the glory, the handywork, the law and the testimony of The LORD, so that everybody who already have an understanding may know it; that each one is without excuse.

Still, many people seems to be so blind. When everything in this world testified the existence of The LORD.
 * The heavens declare the glory of GOD.
 * The Firmament shows His hndyworks.
 * The brightness of the sun that shines every morning until it hides in the darkness of the night is a reflection of GOD's magnificent power.
They all, even without words speaks of GOD's glory and mighty works, that every human should understood.

If only every human will be willing to abide as the Psalmist did, then  there will be no sorrows, there will be no pains.
His songs said it all:

"[7] The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.
 - ABIDE in the law to be converted, ATTAIN the testimony of The LORD to be wise.

[8] The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.
 - BELIEVE and obey the statutes of The LORD and rejoice in it as long as we live, for in His commandments, our vision is brighter and our ways safer.

[9] The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
- Casting all our cares and fears of this world. Let the fear of The LORD our GOD overcome the fear of man.  Abide in His law.  Our attainment should be in accordance to His testimony. Believe and obey His statutes and commandments, and call unto HIM whose judgement is a comforting promise and our righteousness. For Only in Him is the hope of our salvation, from HIS words that endures forever.

[10] More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
[11] Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward."
- let our heart's desires be upon our Creator; The LORD of all, The Everlasting GOD.

Let each of us be warned by GOD's precepts, when we found ourselves walk not in His ways, turn to Him asking for forgiveness. That we may obtain that rewards; as we keep in our hearts, mind and soul the Law, The Testimony , The Commandments, The Judgement and The Fear of The LORD, our GOD.

Have a blessed day ahead!

Psalm 19:1-14 KJV

[1] The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. [2] Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. [3] There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. [4] Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, [5] Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race. [6] His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof. [11] Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward. [12] Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults . [13] Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins ; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression. [14] Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer. …
