Be Still, and Know That I Am GOD:

October 9, 2017-Monday-#503 Daily Morning Bible Reading and Meditation- Psalm 46 KJV

***Be still, and know that I am GOD: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.***

[1] God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

[2] Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

[3] Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.

[10] Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

[11] The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

Words to ponder

Be Still, and Know That I Am GOD:

"[1] GOD is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
[2] Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;"

This is how Merriam-Webster defined GOD:

Capitalized : the supreme or ultimate reality: such as
a : the Being perfect in power, wisdom, and goodness who is worshipped as creator and ruler of the universe
b Christian Science : the incorporeal divine Principle ruling over all as eternal Spirit : infinite Mind

If GOD is indeed the fundamental of all things, if He is The Supreme Being and The One Perfect in power, wisdom and goodness, and if He is The Only One who possesses an Infinite Mind, then He is without question can really be our refuge and strength if we will draw near to Him, call upon HIM and trust only in HIM!

If He is really the One mentioned above, there should not be question anymore among mankind about His existence, about His deeds, nor even questioning the miracles and wonders HE have done in the times of old, neither cast doubts upon His Only Begotten SON JESUS CHRIST Whom was with HIM from the beginning of the creation, Who had been with Great people and the significant characters of the old testament stories, and finally have come to walk with mankind in His time, who have healed the sick and the leapers, gave eyesight to the blinds and had brought back the dead into life again.
Sadly, He was rejected by God's very own chosen people, even His called servants and leaders.

However, His words was written here by the psalmist:  Be Still, and know that I am GOD:. Just as what Moses have spoken to his people when they seems to lost their hope while seeing their oppressors approached them, as they were scared and terrified: Exodus 14:13,14... Stand still and see the salvation of The LORD...!
The LORD still speaks to us today; His words gives assurance and comfort.
Though many people still do not believe  that JESUS is The Only Begotten Son of GOD and therefore He is GOD, He is The One speaking to us who believe and follow Him even until today: "Be still, and know I am GOD:" for in all of our goings, be it in tough times, hardship  and dreariness, He will stand before us, He will walk beside us, He is even the power behind us, for us to get through every trials, troubles and temptations. He is indeed our refuge and strength: a very present help in trouble. We just have to cast our cares and concerns upon Him.
John 16:33 KJV
[33] These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

JESUS CHRIST is GOD.
This truth must prevail without doubting and disputing. Nevertheless, in whatever conflicts, controversies and challenges we may face because of our faith in Him, we just have to be still, and know very well that He is our GOD: that in GOD's time, He shall be exalted among the heathen, even all the earth!

Be still. JESUS our LORD cares.

Good morning!

Psalm 46:1-11 KJV

[1] God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. [2] Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; [3] Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. [4] There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. [5] God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. [6] The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted. [7] The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. [8] Come, behold the works of the Lord , what desolations he hath made in the earth. [9] He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. [10] Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. [11] The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
