GOD Stands In The Congregation Of The Mighty

November 18, 2017-Saturday-#539-Daily Morning Bible Reading and Meditation- Psalm 82 KJV

***God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; He judgeth among the gods.***

[1] God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.

[3] Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.

[4] Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.

[6] I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.

[7] But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.

Words to ponder for today:

GOD Stands In The Congregation Of The Mighty

This psalm of Asaph, accentuated the reality about the extent of human power.
In the times of old, and even util today, there are already lords, kings majesties, who poses to be gods among others: herding, if not oppressing  the inferior people, the publics, the peasant, the poor and the pauper.

Apparently, it is plausible that GOD is in control; for no power, nor principalities is able to contradict what The LORD GOD purposes. Even there are times GOD allows  evil to prosper, yet HE will not forever chide as He sees the wicked  succeeding in plundering and pillaging the lives of the innocents.

"[1] God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods."

All who are oppressed and dismayed should look to HIM; trusting HIM that He is able to deliver them, to strengthen them and to judge the evil deeds of the gods who devour the innocents.   For HE alone and only is able to see the cause of the simple and oppressed. He knows the frailty of the unlearned, even the extent of the power and the mind of the wise; that to HIM, both are short and cannot attain the wisdom He had with Him. That all are in His sight bare and naked. Their ignorance of His law are always the cause of their failures and downfalls.
Evidently, GOD raises mighty men who fear Him to teach the people righteousness; to let all know, both the wise and simple, the gods and the servants, the weak and the powerful, that HE is still GOD and He is still in control.
I personally thank GOD for watching over us and listening to our prayers.
From our sighing and disappointments as we pray for a godly leaders, He answered and gave us our president. He is not perfect, yet his fear in God and his sincerity to serve the weak and poor yield a good result that can be felt, seen and proven. The roads are paved and widened, the crimes are lessened, even the corruptions of the youth because of the illegal drugs are subsiding, the corruptions among the gods from their greediness are continually purging, and the confidence of the majority of people who hungers for righteousness and discipline  are strengthened.

Let us all who fear GOD continue to pray for our leaders, as Apostle Paul has written:
 1 Timothy 2:1-2 KJV
[1] I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
[2] For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

Let GOD's Name be continually glorified in our midst, for we were able to see: GOD stands in the congregation of the mighty.

Good morning!

Psalm 82:1-8 KJV

[1] God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods. [2] How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah. [3] Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy. [4] Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked. [5] They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course. [6] I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. [7] But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes. [8] Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.
