I Rejoice At Thy Word

December 31, 2017-Sunday-#576-G-Daily Morning Bible Reading and Meditation-Psalm 119:151-176 KJV

*** I rejoice at Thy Word, as one that findeth great spoil.***

[151] Thou art near, O Lord ; and all thy commandments are truth.

[152] Concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever.

[160] Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.

[161] Princes have persecuted me without a cause: but my heart standeth in awe of thy word.

[162] I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.

[169] Let my cry come near before thee, O Lord : give me understanding according to thy word.

[170] Let my supplication come before thee: deliver me according to thy word.

[173] Let thine hand help me; for I have chosen thy precepts.

[174] I have longed for thy salvation, O Lord ; and thy law is my delight.

[176] I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments.

Words to ponder for today:

I Rejoice At Thy Word

The Psalmist keen observation about the word and the law of GOD, made him to be joyful in meditating GOD’s words. He had made himself and all his senses became aware of GOD’s presence, for he knew very well that his Good LORD, The GOD of his ancient, draw neigh to them that kept HIS commandments and made them their rejoicing.
This last part of my meditation of this longest Psalm of the Bible, which I segmentally ponder upon, in one week time in the best of my ability, gives me this sense of awareness that, inhere were “Thy Word” mentioned eight times and almost all the verses have the precepts, law, testimonies and commandments of GOD.
I have observed that the Psalmist have born within himself the true love and devotion to The Only GOD, in whom he trusted upon. In whom even in the greatest oppression devised by his enemies, yet he never forget   His laws and commandments. And though there comes a time he almost wandered away like a lost sheep, he still call and ask for help from his GOD to rescue him and save him, for he did not forget his GOD’s commandments.

Self evaluation:
How close we are to our GOD?
How much we value His words, His precepts, His testimonies and commandments?
Does GOD’s law give us that overflowing joy even in the midst of trials and temptations?
Do we have that desires to seek God’s words daily and did not feel satisfied and completeness of our day until we have meditated upon GOD’s words? Knowing that it is the only way to hear Him speaking directly to us ward?
The LORD JESUS CHRIST have spoken the greatest commandment, GOD The Father, have given to all:
Matthew 22:37-38 KJV
[37] Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
[38] This is the first and great commandment.

Do we love GOD with all our hearts, with all our souls with all our minds?

Let this be our prayers now and ever:

O LORD my GOD, let me feel the nearness of you wherever I go, as My greatest desire is to meditate upon your words. Let me ponder upon your words that each day, I may know more about your omnipotence, omniscience, omnisapience and your Sovereignty.  Help me to keep my self walking in your precepts, giving my highest regards upon your testimonies more than any knowledge and understanding I have attained in this world. Let me be worthy in your sight for I have cleave and trusted your salvation.
Make a vessel and channel of your great blessings; bearing within me and the manner of my daily life your truth and your testimony, that through me, others may come to learn from you, live within your precepts and commandments and love your words till the end.

Let me be a person you wanted me to be. A person that fears my Only True GOD, That have put my faith in Your Only Begotten SON JESUS CHRIST my LORD and Savior, and be your close friend who follow  The promptings of HOLY SPIRIT.
This do I pray, in JESUS CHRIST most precious Name.
AMEN!

Psalm 119:151-176 KJV

[151] Thou art near, O Lord ; and all thy commandments are truth. [152] Concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever. [153] Consider mine affliction, and deliver me: for I do not forget thy law. [154] Plead my cause, and deliver me: quicken me according to thy word. [155] Salvation is far from the wicked: for they seek not thy statutes. [156] Great are thy tender mercies, O Lord : quicken me according to thy judgments. [157] Many are my persecutors and mine enemies; yet do I not decline from thy testimonies. [158] I beheld the transgressors, and was grieved; because they kept not thy word. [159] Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me, O Lord , according to thy lovingkindness. [160] Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever. [161] Princes have persecuted me without a cause: but my heart standeth in awe of thy word. [162] I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil. [163] I hate and abhor lying: but thy law do I love. [164] Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments. [165] Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them. [166] Lord , I have hoped for thy salvation, and done thy commandments. [167] My soul hath kept thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly. [168] I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies: for all my ways are before thee. [169] Let my cry come near before thee, O Lord : give me understanding according to thy word. [170] Let my supplication come before thee: deliver me according to thy word. [171] My lips shall utter praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes. [172] My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness. [173] Let thine hand help me; for I have chosen thy precepts. [174] I have longed for thy salvation, O Lord ; and thy law is my delight. [175] Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee; and let thy judgments help me. [176] I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments.
