For Thou Hast Magnify Thy Word Above All Thy Name

January 20, 2018- Saturday-#595 Daily Morning Bible Reading and Meditation-Psalm 138 KJV

***I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.****

[1] I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.

[2] I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

[3] In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.

[6] Though the Lord be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.

[7] Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.

[8] The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord , endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.

Words to ponder for today:

For Thou Hast Magnify Thy Word Above All Thy Name

Magnify:
: to cause to be held in greater esteem or respect.
: to have the power of causing objects to appear larger than they are.

The Psalmist earnest prayer.

Prior to the preceding psalms, where the Psalmist denotes the helpless and sorrowful condition of Israel because of their captivity, heretofore is given the earnest of his praises and supplication to The GOD whom he knew, will not close His ears to the prayer of the faith.
Moreover,  is the significance of his full understanding, that, to whom he cried in prayer, bringing their distraught condition, is the GOD whose Name is known for His lovingkindness and Truth. The LORD Whom he knew, if all the kings of earth would only hear His voice shall fear and tremble. The LORD, who, even if he walks in the midst of trouble, shall covers and keeps him with His hand, strengthen his weakened soul, and save him in His own perfect time. The GOD who hears, listen and answers prayers according to His mercy and lovingkindness.
And hitherto, is the proof that GOD magnify His words. He did it above all his Names, that people shall know Him ; that through His Word, Shall He be known, as The merciful, forgiving and loving GOD. That His Truth and lovingkindness exceeds more than the mere knowledge of His existence.
If GOD, through believing only in His words can do many great signs and wonders in the old times,  from where the descendants of Jacob draw strength, power and hope, could He not do it in this present time, when He, by His grace, through believing in the Name of His Only Begotten  SON JESUS CHRIST’s death, purge and pardon sin?
Yes He can!
For GOD did magnify His words above all His Name, that through loving Him, after knowing and understanding the truth about His words, is wisdom from The Holy Spirit of GOD given to all them that call upon His Name.
For indeed it was spoken by The LORD JESUS CHRIST:
John 14:23-26 KJV
[23] Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
[24] He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
[25] These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
[26] But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

The LORD our GOD magnify His Words. The HOLY SPIRIT whom He has sent to everyone who accept, believe and call upon JESUS CHRIST is the unseen power that leads every believers to discretion an discernment.
He resides into the hearts of them who humbled themselves and trust nothing but the word of GOD.
So if you seen Christian Who seems to be meek yet so powerful and convincing that you cannot resist as he or she speaks about the testimony of GOD, do not hesitate:  it is the HOLY SPIRIT with in that Christian who’s speaking at you. Accept, Believe and conform. For it is The LORD JESUS CHRIST and His Words that has the power to seek and to save that which was lost.

Let GOD’s words be magnified in you.

Be blessed today!

Psalm 138:1-8 KJV

[1] I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee. [2] I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name. [3] In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul. [4] All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O Lord , when they hear the words of thy mouth. [5] Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the Lord : for great is the glory of the Lord .
