I Am My Beloved’s, and My Beloved Is Mine

March 25, 2018-Sunday-#656- Daily Bible Reading and Meditation- Song of Songs 6 KJV

***I am my beloved's, and my beloved is mine: he feedeth among the lilies. ***

[1] Whither is thy beloved gone, O thou fairest among women? whither is thy beloved turned aside? that we may seek him with thee.

[2] My beloved is gone down into his garden, to the beds of spices, to feed in the gardens, and to gather lilies.

[3] I am my beloved's, and my beloved is mine: he feedeth among the lilies.

[8] There are threescore queens, and fourscore concubines, and virgins without number.

[9] My dove, my undefiled is but one; she is the only one of her mother, she is the choice one of her that bare her. The daughters saw her, and blessed her; yea , the queens and the concubines, and they praised her.

[10] Who is she that looketh forth as the morning, fair as the moon, clear as the sun, and terrible as an army with banners?

Words to ponder for today:

I Am My Beloved’s, and My Beloved Is Mine

Such a very intimate description of love between man and woman. It is not only their hearts that are entwined but their bodies, souls and spirits; united by the power of exhilarating love. Though there are multitudes   of queens and concubines offering love to her beloved,  yet he is cognitively, comprehensively committed to love His one and only beloved spouse.
This is how the love of Jesus Christ to His chosen people His Church was compared. He has given His all; His life, His blood, His Name to His Church; even His glory is soon to be shared to His dearly beloved bride on that glorious day: the marriage Supper Of  The Lamb.
This is why Apostle Paul commandments regarding the relationship of husband and wife is written as these: Ephesians 5:22-27 KJV
[22] Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
[23] For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
[24] Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. [25] Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
[26] That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
[27] That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

Such an amazing love!

There is a personal relationship to every member who willingly, wholeheartedly even wholly persuaded to love The LORD will all of their mind, body, soul and spirit. The LORD personally works within the lives of every believers who put their trust in Him in everything. The moment they responded to His calling, contritely repent from their sin after realizing how sinful they are, then they will gladly receive Him as their personal LORD and Savior; rejecting every form of good works and manmade ideas of salvation, but wholly trusting The LORD as The Only Way, The Truth and The Life, according to His Words. Then that person shall receive within himself the seal of GOD by entering in Of The Holy Spirit, who becomes the personal Guide and Teacher; prompting the person what to do as He or she read and understand what is written in GOD’s Word.
This is explained and expound by Apostle Paul in His Epistle in Romans 8:24-30 KJV
[24] For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
[25] But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it .
[26] Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
[27] And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
[28] And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
[29] For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. [30] Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

There is also an ecclesiastical relationship bestowed by Him to the true churches which belongs to The Body of Christ. And that is first mentioned in Ephesians 5: 22-27

Our LORD JESUS CHRIST is the Husband Of The Church where we, true believers are gathered in together. The true churches are subjected to none but to Only ONE: The LORD and Savior JESUS CHRIST.

Come to HIM.
Call upon HIM.
Cleave only in HIM.

Be Blessed today and ever!

Song of Songs 6:1-13 KJV

[1] Whither is thy beloved gone, O thou fairest among women? whither is thy beloved turned aside? that we may seek him with thee. [2] My beloved is gone down into his garden, to the beds of spices, to feed in the gardens, and to gather lilies. [3] I am my beloved's, and my beloved is mine: he feedeth among the lilies. [4] Thou art beautiful, O my love, as Tirzah, comely as Jerusalem, terrible as an army with banners. [5] Turn away thine eyes from me, for they have overcome me: thy hair is as a flock of goats that appear from Gilead. [6] Thy teeth are as a flock of sheep which go up from the washing, whereof every one beareth twins, and there is not one barren among them. [7] As a piece of a pomegranate are thy temples within thy locks. [11] I went down into the garden of nuts to see the fruits of the valley, and to see whether the vine flourished, and the pomegranates budded. [12] Or ever I was aware, my soul made me like the chariots of Amminadib. [13] Return, return, O Shulamite; return, return, that we may look upon thee. What will ye see in the Shulamite? As it were the company of two armies.
