GOD Is With Us

April 6, 2018-Friday-#666- Daily Morning Bible Reading and Meditation-Isaiah 8 KJV

***Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.*** 

[8] And he shall pass through Judah; he shall overflow and go over, he shall reach even to the neck; and the stretching out of his wings shall fill the breadth of thy land, O Immanuel. 

[10] Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us. 

[11] For the Lord spake thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying, 

[12] Say ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid. 

[13] Sanctify the Lord of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread. 

[14] And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem. 

[15] And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken. 

[16] Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.

 [18] Behold, I and the children whom the Lord hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.

Words to ponder for today: 

GOD Is With Us

Maher-shalal-hash-baz: The longest man’s name mentioned in the bible. 

He is the son conceived to Prophet Isaiah, by whom is to me and to some interpreter, his wife, a prophetess, whose name was not mentioned. One of the signs given by GOD to Prophet Isaiah, so that the people will know and believe that, what GOD spake through His prophets, GOD fulfills.

To prove that in the coming days, The Man-GOD Immanuel is to come and shall shed His wings, not only to the nation Israel but to the whole earth as a flood of many waters, that goes through every channels. 

He shall also be a stumbling block and a rock of offense to them who do not believe. 

These are the words spoken of by the prophets of old. Affirmed and avouched by the Apostles of The LORD JESUS CHRIST in the new testament, to be Him and no one else, as the fulfillment of what was spoken by the Prophet Isaiah, His words that was herein written :

[16] Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.

Boldly confirmed by Apostle Peter when they were questioned by the rulers and leaders of the Jews. Written for a testimony for us to know the truth of GOD’s Sovereign works in Acts 4:10-12 KJV

[10] Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ   of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. 

[11] This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. 

[12] Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

The LORD JESUS CHRIST; it is He, whom had spoken here: “I and the children whom GOD has given to Me are for sign”. Christ Jesus as the “I” and “Me”, and all the believers are the children in faith whom GOD has given Him; from the Apostles of The LORD, to those who were converted into faith of The LORD, even unto all of us who obtained salvation by grace through faith,  obey the words of The LORD,  and obviously learning, living and loving His commandments. We are the children of GOD, whom are also for sign, that others who are still searching for the true GOD, may find the way, the truth and the life. 

This is what Apostle Paul has written:

Galatians 3:26-28 KJV

[26] For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 

[27] For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 

[28] There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

If we are sure, that,  we are the true believers of The Living, The Almighty, The All Powerful and The Sovereign GOD, that we are saved though faith of The LORD JESUS CHRIST, that we have confessed in our mouth The LORD JESUS, who was crucified, died, buried, and on the third day rose again, and that He is the ultimate sacrifice for our sins,  then, GOD is with us. 

This is our blessed assurance: 

Romans 10:13 KJV

[13] For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Revelation 3:20 KJV

[20] Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

I know and I believe GOD is with me. Because last thirty one years ago, I accepted The LORD as my personal LORD and Savior.

[1] Moreover the Lord said unto me, Take thee a great roll, and write in it with a man's pen concerning Maher-shalal-hash-baz. [2] And I took unto me faithful witnesses to record, Uriah the priest, and Zechariah the son of Jeberechiah. [3] And I went unto the prophetess; and she conceived, and bare a son. Then said the Lord to me, Call his name Maher-shalal-hash-baz. [4] For before the child shall have knowledge to cry, My father, and my mother, the riches of Damascus and the spoil of Samaria shall be taken away before the king of Assyria. [5] The Lord spake also unto me again, saying, [6] Forasmuch as this people refuseth the waters of Shiloah that go softly, and rejoice in Rezin and Remaliah's son; [7] Now therefore, behold, the Lord bringeth up upon them the waters of the river, strong and many, even the king of Assyria, and all his glory: and he shall come up over all his channels, and go over all his banks: [8] And he shall pass through Judah; he shall overflow and go over, he shall reach even to the neck; and the stretching out of his wings shall fill the breadth of thy land, O Immanuel. [19] And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead? [20] To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. [21] And they shall pass through it, hardly bestead and hungry: and it shall come to pass, that when they shall be hungry, they shall fret themselves, and curse their king and their God, and look upward. [22] And they shall look unto the earth; and behold trouble and darkness, dimness of anguish; and they shall be driven to darkness.
