April 4, 2018-Wednesday-#664 Daily Morning Bible Reading and Meditation-Isaiah 6 KJV
***Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.***
[5] Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts.
[6] Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:
[7] And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.
[8] Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
[9] And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.
[10] Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.
Words to ponder for today:
Here Am I; Send Me
GOD speaks.
The LORD did all He can so that men may see, hear and touch Him. He had reached out the weaknesses and vileness of men.
This chapter; the testimony of the Prophet Isaiah is not just a vision or some sort of a dream. He plainly stated: “..I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.”
GOD did used men to reveal His plan to mankind, as it is His purpose; to have fellowship with them whom are created in His image.
All of GOD’s plan for mankind He did revealed; even His nature. This prophet have seen The LORD’s majesty; sitting in His throne; obeyed and worshipped by His servants. He had seen His train filled the temple. The temple’s coals of fire, which is to burnt sacrifices, purge the Prophet’s lips that he may be worthy to speak the language of The LORD.
The Lord after showing Himself to him, asked: “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Though He is lifted and in power, yet He did not here command nor force him; a man of vile yet purged by fire lips, to be sent and go with them. He simply asked him.
Though The LORD is GOD, who could have made man to obey all His command to be like Him in all goings, and even if He was pushed and provoked by the abominable sins of mankind, He patiently waited for them to come to Him, repent from their sins, and turn their back from their idolatrous way of living; choose, calls, and charge him, who willingly said: “here am I, send me”
Before the desolation of Israel, the LORD GOD, sent prophets to warn them. And in the midst of His disappointment from His people’s sinful deeds and iniquity, His love to mankind still prevail, that He had sent His Only Begotten Son JESUS CHRIST, Who is seated on His throne in heaven, served and worshipped by His angels, seen by this Prophets in all His glory, to let the people know that He is, and He is able to forgive their sins and cleansed them from their filthiness.
Truly, GOD humbled down Himself, came down to earth, to dwell with mankind who are defiled in heart, mind and spirit; to let them know the way to heaven; to win them through His righteousness and meekness, to obey GOD His Father. But GOD knows the sinfulness of them whose eyes are closed from seeing, and ears dumb from hearing. For they saw, and heard, yet they perceived not, even refused to recognize Who this Man was: The Man JESUS, The Only Way, Truth and Life.
Parents, brothers, sisters, Friends, and all who who have eyes to see and ears to hear, Th LORD is still asking even until now: “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?”
GOD who made us is able to purge our lips, open our eyes and make our ears to hear. We witness His amazing grace from day to day. The sun that constantly shining that gives us day to work, and its sitting down, to gives us night to rest, even the air that we breath is the manifestation of His never ending power and compassion to us ward. And how about the water that we drink? He plants that grows to sustain our needs? The seas that bountifully yield its richness that we may have food in season? Not to mention the train of true churches that flourished in all the earth to proclaim GOD’s words, are all of the things that are naked to our eyes. These are the manifestation of GOD’s bountiful grace to us ward. Yet, He is pleading, whom shall He send and who shall go with us?
If your heart is moved by the message of this chapter, you may willingly say these words that I said seven years ago: “Here am I, sent me.
This will not be an easy decision for you. For you will have many considerations, cares of this world, idolatrous ways and even your self may go against your willingness to obey to put down vain thing in your life at the feet of GOD. But believe me, it is worth it. For there is no true joy, no true peace and no true love outside the will of The LORD, who is able to make our lives meaningful.
Let each one would come to our bended knee and pray:
Hear am I LORD, send me!
Have a pleasant day ahead!
Isaiah 6:1-13 KJV
[1] In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. [2] Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. [3] And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. [4] And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke. [5] Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts. [6] Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar: [7] And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged. [11] Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate, [12] And the Lord have removed men far away, and there be a great forsaking in the midst of the land. [13] But yet in it shall be a tenth, and it shall return, and shall be eaten: as a teil tree, and as an oak, whose substance is in them, when they cast their leaves: so the holy seed shall be the substance thereof.
