***I, even I, am the Lord ; and beside me there is no saviour.***
[1] But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.
[2] When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
[3] For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.
[4] Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life.
[5] Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west;
[6] I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;
[7] Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.
[11] I, even I, am the Lord ; and beside me there is no saviour.
[12] I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord , that I am God.
[13] Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?
Words to ponder for today:
I, Even I, AM The LORD ; And Beside Me There Is No Saviour.
“[1] But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.”
The blessed assurance GOD, through the mouth of His Prophet Isaiah, has spoken: “Fear not; for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by name, thou art mine.”
Though there were times that GOD allowed Israel to be conquered, invaded and destroyed, His blessed promise pf redemption keeps this nation survived, even they were scattered because of their transgression, when they rejected their Savior; The Only Begotten Son of GOD, JESUS CHRIST.
But before that dreadful day came, all of this prophesy, have came to passed, which GOD has spoken of here: “[2] When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.”
The LORD, In His great power and stretched out arms, have led His chosen people Israel, through the waters, when they were set free from the bondage of Egypt, to bring them up to the promised land GOD has given to them. This has nothing to do with their faith. Because during that time of their crucial independence, even their leader Moses faint. It is the arms of GOD that keep him; the words of GOD that strengthen him to continue and do what The LORD said unto him.
From the hatred of their enemies, which threatened Israel to give up, it is GOD’s hand that lifted them up. The GOD who is true to His promise, even until that blessed day, when The Only Begotten Baby, The Son of GOD JESUS CHRIST, was born of a virgin, became flesh with perfect blood; He, who has been there ever since the world began. He is the One who have spoken to Isaiah in verse 11, “I, even I, am the Lord ; and beside me there is no saviour.”
In JESUS earthly ministry, He plainly introduced Himself as the “I Am” before Abraham, which was not accepted by His own people; caused them to be enraged and about to stoned him to death:
John 8:56-59 KJV
[56] Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it , and was glad.
[57] Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?
[58] Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM.
[59] Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.
He also has spoken to his disciples about who He is in His Father GOD’s kingdom, particularly to Philip:
John 14:6-11 KJV
[7] If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
[8] Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
[9] Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then , Shew us the Father?
[10] Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
[11] Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.
He is now believed and worship by many nations; yet some uses His Holy Name to lead people to believe false religion for their own profits; using graven images as His representation which is an abomination to Him and a reproach to HisHoly Name even to GOD, His Father. They even polluted and corrupted the simple and blameless way of salvation by adding into it the acceptance and worship of other gods and doctrines of men.
Hear ye people the word of The Savior:
[11] I, even I, am the Lord ; and beside me there is no saviour.
[12] I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord , that I am God.
[13] Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?
Listen to Him. Believe His words.
He will show you the way, if you turn your mind only in Him,receive Him as your Savior, and reject strange gods. He will call you His own. He will strengthen you, put away your fears, and He will perform great miracles and wonders even show you His magnificent power. Your part is only to believe and take His words as it is. Simple and plain: [11] I, even I, am the Lord ; and beside me there is no saviour.
[6] Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Accept, Believe and Cleave to The ONLY Way, The ONLY Truth, The ONLY Life, whom is The LORD and Savior JESUS CHRIST.
Be blessed today and ever!
Isaiah 43:1-28 KJV
[5] Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west; [6] I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth; [7] Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him. [8] Bring forth the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears. [9] Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and shew us former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, It is truth. [10] Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord , and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. [14] Thus saith the Lord , your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought down all their nobles, and the Chaldeans, whose cry is in the ships. [15] I am the Lord , your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King. [16] Thus saith the Lord , which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters; [17] Which bringeth forth the chariot and horse, the army and the power; they shall lie down together, they shall not rise: they are extinct, they are quenched as tow. [18] Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. [19] Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. [20] The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen. [21] This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise. [22] But thou hast not called upon me, O Jacob; but thou hast been weary of me, O Israel. [23] Thou hast not brought me the small cattle of thy burnt offerings; neither hast thou honoured me with thy sacrifices. I have not caused thee to serve with an offering, nor wearied thee with incense. [24] Thou hast bought me no sweet cane with money, neither hast thou filled me with the fat of thy sacrifices: but thou hast made me to serve with thy sins, thou hast wearied me with thine iniquities. [25] I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins. [26] Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified. [27] Thy first father hath sinned, and thy teachers have transgressed against me. [28] Therefore I have profaned the princes of the sanctuary, and have given Jacob to the curse, and Israel to reproaches.
