May 14, 2018-Monday-#703-Daily Morning Bible Reading and Meditation-Isaiah 45 KJV
*** For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me. ***
[1] Thus saith the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;
[2] I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:
[3] And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the Lord , which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.
[4] For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me.
[5] I am the Lord , and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:
[6] That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the Lord , and there is none else.
[7] I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things .
Words to ponder for today:
I Have Even Called Thee By Thy Name
Sir Charles Spurgeon’s Commentary says:
“Long before the period of Cyrus’s birth, this prophecy was written by Isaiah, and surely it must have flashed solemn conviction upon the heart of the king when he came to read words like these, in which his very name was mentioned, and all his exploits and successes, with which he vanquished his enemies, captured their strong places, and cut the gates of brass in pieces. Our God has all things present before him. To him there is no future. All things are in one eternal now with him, and hence he tells to his prophets the things that shall be.
Isaiah 45:5. I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:
It is a wonderful subject — the providential government of God over princes and potentates that know him not — how he raised up Cyrus on the behalf of his people, that they might be delivered; and though Cyrus did not know it, yet was he, as it were, an instrument in the hand of God — moved according to the divine will.
Isaiah 45:6-7 KJV
[6] That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the Lord , and there is none else.
[7] I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things .”

Truth and Facts about The GOD:
* GOD is faithful and true.
He promised Abraham to multiply his seeds and call them His own. Jacob whom He named Israel, is GOD’s chosen people. Whether they obey Him or rebel against His commandments; though sometimes He put them away in His sight to chastise them from their iniquities, He did not utterly forsake them.
This is also true to them who come, call and cleave unto Him in faith, His promise of eternal security is given; though sometimes we fail Him, He may chastise us, but will not be utterly forsaken. We have the privilege to call directly to Him and ask forgiveness as His beloved children.
Matthew 7:11 KJV
[11] If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
* The LORD GOD is wise and all knowing.
He knows that Israel again and again will forsook His law and precepts; and He will not get tired of chastising them as His beloved children. And one of His chastisement to them is to let the enemy conquered them; enslaved them, and rule over them. So He afore time set to raise a ruler in the person of King Cyrus, whose heart GOD shall make tender, for to show compassion to GOD’s beloved Israel; who shall impose rules which benefitted them; which will free them from the tyranny of their former rulers/captors, and build their cities once again.
GOD also did and set to do the same, for all of them who was once enslaved with sins, come to get closer to GOD, call upon His Name, and casting all their cares upon Him. He will raise someone, who will lead you and set you free from enslavement. You just have to put your trust in GOD,whose wisdom exceeds the understanding of man.
Psalm 118:8 KJV
[8] It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.
1 Peter 5:7 KJV
[7] Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
The LORD GOD is The Only Omnipotent, Omnipresent and Omniscient GOD.
He is The Only GOD whose great power and mercy is infinite. Human’s mind could not be able to totally comprehend His thought. Yet He gave His words for our finite mind to understand His will. And that is to know Him, to believe only in Him, to put our whole trust and faithfulness in Him, by:
* realizing and recognizing our depravity, our limited mind even our control over ourselves, and our fragility. That we cannot do all things perfectly in this life without Him.
* rejecting entirely our own understanding and relying all of our choices in GOD’s words which will only be know to us, if we read and learn from the written inerrant King James Bible. Only from then is the understanding, that we must repent from our sins and humbly submit to GOD’s blessed will.
* receiving ONLY The LORD JESUS CHRIST as The Only Way GOD has given, The Only Truth, He manifested Himself, even the spoken Words about Him, and The Only Life which leads to Him in Heaven.
GOD repeatedly spoken again and again for us to know and learn:
“[18] For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord ; and there is none else.”
This world we live in, though evil sometimes rule over, GOD is still in control to them who call upon His Name, even to them that put their trust in Him.
He is GOD, He did not gave up His throne nor shared it with other gods. He is still the same yesterday, today and forever. Yet His favorable eyes are set only upon them who trust in His great power and His marvelous works, He even raise them up, holding them up by His right hand, and call them by names, for them to know He is GOD, The LORD of hosts, who is able to deliver the meek and destroy haughty.
Try to know The True GOD.
Take time to get closer with Him by reading and meditating upon His words. (KJV Bible)
Totally submit to His will and His precepts,
Trust His ways, for His truth will always lead to life of peace and protection.
Let alone GOD be glorify.
Good morning!
Isaiah 45:1-25 KJV
[1] Thus saith the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut; [2] I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: [3] And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the Lord , which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel. [4] For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me. [5] I am the Lord , and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me: [6] That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the Lord , and there is none else. [7] I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things . [8] Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the Lord have created it. [9] Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands? [10] Woe unto him that saith unto his father, What begettest thou? or to the woman, What hast thou brought forth? [11] Thus saith the Lord , the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me. [12] I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded. [13] I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, saith the Lord of hosts. [14] Thus saith the Lord , The labour of Egypt, and merchandise of Ethiopia and of the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over unto thee, and they shall be thine: they shall come after thee; in chains they shall come over, and they shall fall down unto thee, they shall make supplication unto thee, saying , Surely God is in thee; and there is none else, there is no God. [15] Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour. [16] They shall be ashamed, and also confounded, all of them: they shall go to confusion together that are makers of idols. [17] But Israel shall be saved in the Lord with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end. [18] For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord ; and there is none else. [19] I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the Lord speak righteousness, I declare things that are right. [20] Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations: they have no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god that cannot save. [21] Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the Lord ? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me. [22] Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. [23] I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. [24] Surely, shall one say, in the Lord have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed. [25] In the Lord shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.
