Deadly Destruction

***[11] So they sent and gathered together all the lords of the Philistines, and said, Send away the ark of the God of Israel, and let it go again to his own place, that it slay us not, and our people: for there was a deadly destruction throughout all the city; the hand of God was very heavy there.***


[1] And the Philistines took the ark of God, and brought it from Eben-ezer unto Ashdod.

[6] But the hand of the Lord was heavy upon them of Ashdod, and he destroyed them, and smote them with emerods, even Ashdod and the coasts thereof.

[7] And when the men of Ashdod saw that it was so, they said, The ark of the God of Israel shall not abide with us: for his hand is sore upon us, and upon Dagon our god.

[10] Therefore they sent the ark of God to Ekron. And it came to pass, as the ark of God came to Ekron, that the Ekronites cried out, saying, They have brought about the ark of the God of Israel to us, to slay us and our people.

[11] So they sent and gathered together all the lords of the Philistines, and said, Send away the ark of the God of Israel, and let it go again to his own place, that it slay us not, and our people: for there was a deadly destruction throughout all the city; the hand of God was very heavy there.

Deadly Destruction

After the ark of GOD is taken away from the temple of Shiloh, and carried it to their city, and put it besides the altar of their god Dagon, then the hand of GOD moved.
He first proved to the Philistines that the ark of GOD is not to be set before their god; for there is no other gods before Him and beside him.
He shewed them how, even the molten image of their god Dagon fall to its face down to earth before the ark of GOD, on the first day they put the ark of GOD besides Dagon their god. And when they have set it up again, the next morning, it’s hand and head were broken off on the ground before the ark of GOD; and then the people, mostly men were plagued with emerods.
And to every city they put the ark of GOD, the people were smitten and destroyed with emerods which in our time today was called hemorrhoids or might be tumor in their private parts, because of the deadly destruction it brought to the people.

GOD’s hand are heavy upon the people who have
taken Him and His words with idols. Deadly destruction are to them to whom the hand of GOD are heavy; when His words are used vilely.  
Pandemic pestilence the world is suffering now is allowed by GOD because people refused to listen. Most people believed false gods and worship idols. They don’t take seriously the fear of the true GOD and they esteemed lightly the true GOD’s words; using it to deceived  people    as they lead them to idolatrous worship.
And unless they will realized it’s the works of the True GOD’s hand and seek the truth about Him, His wrath will not be appeased.
As what it was written by Apostle Paul: Romans 1:18-25 KJV
“[18] For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
[19] Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. [20] For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
[21] Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
[22] Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
[23] And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
[24] Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
[25] Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.”

Let each one of us be awakened. Let each one seek the truth about who the true  GOD is.
Ephesians 5:15-17 KJV
[15] See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
[16] Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
[17] Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
Know the will, words and ways of The LORD and be blessed today and ever!

[1] And the Philistines took the ark of God, and brought it from Eben-ezer unto Ashdod. [2] When the Philistines took the ark of God, they brought it into the house of Dagon, and set it by Dagon. [3] And when they of Ashdod arose early on the morrow, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the earth before the ark of the Lord. And they took Dagon, and set him in his place again. [4] And when they arose early on the morrow morning, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the ground before the ark of the Lord ; and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands were cut off upon the threshold; only the stump of Dagon was left to him. [5] Therefore neither the priests of Dagon, nor any that come into Dagon's house, tread on the threshold of Dagon in Ashdod unto this day. [6] But the hand of the Lord was heavy upon them of Ashdod, and he destroyed them, and smote them with emerods, even Ashdod and the coasts thereof. [7] And when the men of Ashdod saw that it was so, they said, The ark of the God of Israel shall not abide with us: for his hand is sore upon us, and upon Dagon our god. [8] They sent therefore and gathered all the lords of the Philistines unto them, and said, What shall we do with the ark of the God of Israel? And they answered, Let the ark of the God of Israel be carried about unto Gath. And they carried the ark of the God of Israel about thither. [9] And it was so, that, after they had carried it about, the hand of the Lord was against the city with a very great destruction: and he smote the men of the city, both small and great, and they had emerods in their secret parts. [10] Therefore they sent the ark of God to Ekron. And it came to pass, as the ark of God came to Ekron, that the Ekronites cried out, saying, They have brought about the ark of the God of Israel to us, to slay us and our people. [11] So they sent and gathered together all the lords of the Philistines, and said, Send away the ark of the God of Israel, and let it go again to his own place, that it slay us not, and our people: for there was a deadly destruction throughout all the city; the hand of God was very heavy there. [12] And the men that died not were smitten with the emerods: and the cry of the city went up to heaven.
