The Ways Of The LORD

May 14, 2023-Morning Bible Reading and Meditation Hosea 14 KJV

“[9] Who is wise, and he shall understand these things ? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the Lord are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.”

Words to ponder for today:

The Ways of The LORD

In this last chapter of this book, The LORD is calling His dear children to return to Him and seek refuge from Him.

Like a mother hen calling for her little fragile chicks who have gone astray; endangering their lives to the attacking raven from the air.

It is indeed the ways of The LORD the path to safety; who runs into it are saved from eternal jeopardy.

While some may have head full of knowledge; position that give them power, possession which made them able, and some have it all even the belief which was passed to them by their ancestors, yet all these things are but with little value; might be advantageous or extremely  outrageous; subtly misleading you to that miserable and unsatisfying feelings,  that you desire for more to validate your righteousness while living here in this earth.

But know for sure, all are to face death and the soul will have no scape to face The Creator: The GOD of The Bible.

So, if in this life, despite of all riches, power and belief, emptiness hunts you; keep on wanting but not satisfied, keep on pursuing but there is still lacking inside, trying everything to be happy but in your most quiet moments you feel emptiness, pray and ask GOD for guidance, be ready to humble down to accept GOD’s plan.

Be prudent to trust GOD’s way, be righteous to accept His truth, and be wise  to receive the life which is the only gate to life eternal with GOD..

The Son of GOD: JESUS CHRIST said in John 14:6 KJV “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

The ways of the LORD is given to all,  be safe and secured by walking thereon.

Good day!

Hosea 14:1-9 KJV

[1] O Israel, return unto the Lord thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity. [2] Take with you words, and turn to the Lord : say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips. [3] Asshur shall not save us; we will not ride upon horses: neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, Ye are our gods: for in thee the fatherless findeth mercy. [4] I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him. [5] I will be as the dew unto Israel: he shall grow as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon. [6] His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his smell as Lebanon. [7] They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive as the corn, and grow as the vine: the scent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon. [8] Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is thy fruit found. [9] Who is wise, and he shall understand these things ? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the Lord are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.
