Ye Must Be Born Again

“[7] Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

[16] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. “

 

Lesson: Ye Must Be Born Again

 

Ye- it is a plural form of YOU

Thee - You -singular objective

Thou- You- singular adjective

thy/thine - You in possessive form of pronoun

Reddit define:

Thee: object pronoun for "you," like "him" is an object pronoun for "he"

 

Thine/thy: possessive pronoun (your/yours). Thine before a vowel (thine apple); thy before a consonant (thy cart).

 

Taking note this conversation of The LORD with Nicodemus: a man of Pharisees and a ruler of the Jews, who came to Him by night, the pronoun used was thee, in verse 3, answering only to one person Necodemus, with his declarative, professing words. But in verse 7, JESUS’s answered Nicodemus “ Marvel not that I said unto thee, ye must be born again.”

The LORD said to Nicodemus, “you should not be surprised that I said unto you: you all must be born again.”

 

The LORD is cleared to His message:

All should be born again. Not only the selected people, but all. Everybody must.

Born again, not in the flesh but by the will of GOD; to all who receive and believe in Him (JESUS), will be born to the new family: to become the sons of GOD. 

This is relevant to what John has written in John 1 KJV “12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”

• It is obligatory that all should be born again

• It should be observed for all to be born again

• It is ominous that all should be born again

This how important that all should be born again. JESUS repeatedly spoken to Necodemus in verse “[5] Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God”. He was not yet even asked by Necodemus, but this was what He has spoken to him. 

Obviously, there is an urgency in the LORD’S words, from these conversation with this ruler of the Jews; JESUS is trying to convey to him, that the religion they are teaching the people so vividly, have lost its substance to bring people to even get closer to the GOD of their forefather Abraham, because the promised Mediator has already come. The substantial sacrifice, sufficient to cover all sins of the whole entire world, so that none will perish. No religion so righteous is able to supersedes the Sent One from Heaven: the Only Son of GOD whose coming brought a very personal relationship with GOD His Father. 

John the Baptist and John the Beloved both testified the great importance of believing in JESUS as the Son of GOD. The Man GOD which coming to earth is to prove to mankind GOD’s love; the answer to all of human’s hopeless condition. V.16

These facts are clearly convened to us, so that we may have the blessed assurance of going to heaven:

1. In whatsoever situation or position we are inthis world, if we have been born again the way JESUS said, we will become one among God’s children.v.1-12

2. That whosoever believe in the Son of GOD JESUS CHRIST will be born again; will be saved from the punishment of sins and will have an everlasting life. v.13-16

3. That wheresoever we are, if we believe the Only Son of GOD is JESUS CHRIST who came to earth more than two thousand years ago, no place nor situation will hinder us from becoming born again; for it if we believe in our heart that JESUS is the Son of GOD, the HOLY SPIRIT will seal us, that we are bound to eternal life with GOD. and that we are free from the condemnation of sin. v. 17-19. Romans 8:35-39

 

4. The opposite of all these are the truth that all who:

➢ Refuse to believe in the Son of GOD will remain loving to walk in darkness and will never see light. V. 19-21

➢ Rejected the testimony of the Son of GOD are condemned and the wrath of GOD abides in them. v. 31-36

To be born again is a must; have to go through the process below and gradually living each day.keeping these in mind: 

• That all should accept GOD’s gift of salvation through His Only Begotten Son JESUS CHRIST. 

• That all should believe that Only through the Son of GOD JESUS CHRIST is the way to Heaven.

• That all should call upon GOD in prayer in the Name of the Son of GOD JESUS CHRIST to be heard. 

• That all who deigned or condescend to submit to GOD’s authority, will wholeheartedly depart from evil and cleave to JESUS CHRIST’s doctrine. 

• That all who entered into GOD’s rest are surely have been born again; enjoying the privilege of becoming GOD’s child; keep on sharing the testimony of believing in the virgin birth, deathburial, resurrection and ascension of JESUS CHRIST: The Only Begotten Son of GOD who has been The Lamb of GOD; of whom wassent to this world to be the perfect sacrifice.

Let this title: BORN AGAIN, be not use to defile the Name of CHRIST by living carelessly, covetously, and clandestinely. 

But let us all make others know, who do not have JESUS CHRIST in their heart, by telling them: “ye must be born again.”

John 3:1-36 KJV

There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: [2] The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. [3] Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. [4] Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? [5] Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. [6] That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. [7] Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. [8] The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. [9] Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be? [10] Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? [11] Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. [12] If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? [13] And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. [14] And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: [15] That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. [16] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. [17] For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. [18] He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. [19] And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. [20] For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. [21] But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. [22] After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized. [23] And John also was baptizing in AEnon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized. [24] For John was not yet cast into prison. [25] Then there arose a question between some of John's disciples and the Jews about purifying. [26] And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all men come to him. [27] John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven. [28] Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him. [29] He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled. [30] He must increase, but I must decrease. [31] He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all. [32] And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony. [33] He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true. [34] For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him. [35] The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand. [36] He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
