[6] Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
[7] And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
[8] And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.
Lesson: In the Name of JESUS CHRIST of Nazareth
His Name Has Power
The Lame was healed, people wondered.
They watch him walk, and leaping praising The LORD.
All were in awed, hearts filled with sorrow,
For they have rejected Him, who loved them so.
Words pricked their hearts, they knew He was condemned.
For the sins the law said He committed, on that cross He was nailed.
Claiming He is GOD’s Only Son, came down from His Heavenly dwelling.
Though He was gone, still in His Name works of miracles and wonders,
Many accepted and believed.
His Name has power, this lame was healed.
They saw it with their eyes, them who saw were all amazed.
Peter speaks with boldness, he will not anymore be silent,
As he testified GOD’s grace, in the Name of JESUS CHRIST of Nazareth.
His Name has power, His Name has power!
In the Name of JESUS CHRIST of Nazareth,
His Name has power, his Name has power,
If we believe, our souls will all be saved.
JESUS’ Name has power, yes it’s still is
Changing the lives of many who chose to Him have cleaved.
Why live a life uncertain, why live sinking in grief?
Come and call in JESUS’ Name, He is Mighty to save!
Acts 3:1-10 KJV
It is in that most Holy Name; not of Apostle Peter nor of Apostle John who have power to heal the lame, sitting to beg for alms at the gate of the temple which is called “Beautiful” But it was in the Name of JESUS CHRIST of Nazareth.
We all believed and conformed that, during the ministering of the Apostles of JESUS The CHRIST, many more unrecorded miracles have been done, just like what is happening to all those who come to believe in JESUS CHRIST, whose testimonies were shared to every congregations of churches; unwritten but remembered by those who heard and experienced the same.
It might not happen now as like before; but that Holy Name of JESUS CHRIST of Nazareth hadn’t lost its power; for it was and still is, that heals;
And yes, we all who believed, one way or another, have experienced the healing, the comforting, the assuring power of the Name of JESUS CHRIST our only LORD and Savior. The healing that had just performedhere by Peter and John in the Name of JESUS CHRIST, has been the focal point of the preaching of Peter; as he boldly declared unto all people who came to see this wondrous miracle done in the Name of the Holy One of whom they delivered to the determinate counsel, that when Pilate tried to set Him free, they denied but have chosen the criminal Barrabas to be freed. But take note of the compassionate words Peter has spoken to them in these verses:
Acts 3:11-17 KJV
“[11]And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon's, greatly wondering.
[12] And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?
[13] The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.
[14] But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;
[15] And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.
[16] And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
[17] And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers.
[18]But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.
[19] Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
[20] And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
[21] Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.”
What Apostle Peter proclaimed for people to understand about the plan of GOD to send His Holy One in Israel: Deuteronomy18:18, Isaiah 45:11, Isaiah 53
1. GOD proclaim it.
2. Prophets prophesied.
3. That Through GOD’s Son JESUS CHRIST, PARDON from sin, has to be paidby His sufferings, death on the cross, buried for three days and three nights, then arose back to life again, ascended back to Heaven, and forever reign as the Eternal King.
For the seeds of Jacob, they should repent and be converted, that their sins be blotted out, when that day of restitution should come; on that day of the coming again of the JESUS CHRIST: The Pardon-Giver for them who believe in His words given to mankind.
But as for us Gentiles believers, we have given special privilege by GOD to make His people jealous; that we do not need to wait for the coming again of JESUS CHRIST for our sins to be forgiven, what we only need is to:
Making sure of our salvation through these process as we call upon His Name:
1. Realize you are a sinner and you’re unsure your goodness is enough. Romans 3:10,23
2. Repent from your sins and confess it to GOD in humble prayer. Romans 10:9, 2 Corinthians 7:10
3. Reject all of your ideas on how you will earn pardon from your sins. Romans 5:8,
4. Receive GOD’s gift of salvation through death, burial and resurrection of JESUS CHRIST: The Only LORD and Savior. Romans 5:19,21, John 3:16, John 14:6
When we once got saved we are always saved and counted among the many whom are blessed.
Acts 3:22-26 KJV
[22]For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.
[23] And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.
[24] Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.
[25] Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.
[26] Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.
The JESUS CHRIST whom we put our faith is:
* the fulfillment of GOD’s promise
*was foretold by the prophets of old
*the faith that we are commanded to follow
*the future that we look forward and the content of our hope.
Let Him be the first in all of our everything; be our faith in Him subdue all fear of the unknown and of what may come to happen.
Good morning
Acts 3:1-10 KJV
[1]Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.
[2] And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;
[3] Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.
[4] And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.
[5] And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.
[6] Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

[9] And all the people saw him walking and praising God:
[10] And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.
[11]And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon's, greatly wondering.
