Out Of The Whirlwind

August 22, 2017-Tuesday-#455 Daily Morning Bible Reading and Meditation-Job 40 KJV

***Then answered the Lord unto Job out of the whirlwind, and said, ***

[1] Moreover the Lord answered Job, and said,

[2] Shall he that contendeth with the Almighty instruct him ? he that reproveth God, let him answer it.

[3] Then Job answered the Lord , and said,

[4] Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth.

[5] Once have I spoken; but I will not answer: yea, twice; but I will proceed no further.

[6] Then answered the Lord unto Job out of the whirlwind, and said,

[7] Gird up thy loins now like a man: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.

[8] Wilt thou also disannul my judgment? wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be righteous?

[9] Hast thou an arm like God? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him?

Words to ponder for today:

Out Of The Whirlwind

God spake out of the whirlwind.
He was still present with Job in the midst of the strong, untamable storm. He had not morphed into a gentler presence.
And Job's eagerness to reason out with GOD have melted; humbling himself and have professed his vileness.
He never yielded, yet firmly depended himself from the fierce accusative counsel of his friends, but when GOD had spoken, he abased himself by admitting his folly.
And there was the sweet fellowship between the man Job and GOD; though distance in personage still parted between them, he may have felt the comfort in the presence of his Creator as he seems to have forgotten his arguments about his agony and pain; his sufferings was surpassed by overwhelming joy as he have heard and listened to the thundering yet tender loving voice of The ALMIGHTY. Knowing that GOD heard his lamentations and see his sufferings, and at that moment speaking to him, in GOD's very own way of speaking, have tendered Job's heart and have repented him of his desires to contend with GOD.

GOD remain GOD, even if we questioned His bizarre, ununderstandable works. He may not answer us out of the whirlwind wherein he had spoken with JOB, but through the power of His inerrant word, His answer to our questions shall be fulfilled.
The void in our heart that was created by sin, can only be filled by the unfailing love of GOD, through His Only Begotten Son JESUS CHRIST. What we need to do is to humbly Come to Him, Confess our sins, and Cast all our Cares upon Him.
He is Mighty in power and His Sovereign will always prevail, yet His tenderness and compassion is able to melt our heart as we willingly yield everything to HIM in prayers.

Let us not scornfully challenge GOD to speak to us again out of the whirlwind, because GOD is still GOD, and HE is still able to create another great storm Yolanda or Haiyan, which have greatly devastated greater part of the Southeast Asia, specifically The Philippines. Instead, let us humble down ourselves to GOD.  Let the epistle of Apostle Paul about our LORD JESUS CHRIST, remind us always about humility;  that our  hardiness of heart be melted by meekly and humbly yielding our self centeredness and self righteousness to The Only Mighty and Sovereign GOD:
 Philippians 2:3-8 KJV
[3] Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
[4] Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
[5] Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: [6] Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
[7] But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
[8] And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

In this stormy and rainy morning, let GOD be our comfort by still thanking GOD for the life we have.

Good morning!

Job 40:1-24 KJV

[1] Moreover the Lord answered Job, and said, [2] Shall he that contendeth with the Almighty instruct him ? he that reproveth God, let him answer it. [3] Then Job answered the Lord , and said, [4] Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth. [5] Once have I spoken; but I will not answer: yea, twice; but I will proceed no further. [6] Then answered the Lord unto Job out of the whirlwind, and said, [7] Gird up thy loins now like a man: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me. [8] Wilt thou also disannul my judgment? wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be righteous? [9] Hast thou an arm like God? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him? [10] Deck thyself now with majesty and excellency; and array thyself with glory and beauty. [11] Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath: and behold every one that is proud, and abase him. [12] Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place. [13] Hide them in the dust together; and bind their faces in secret. [14] Then will I also confess unto thee that thine own right hand can save thee. [15] Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox. [16] Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly. [17] He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together. [18] His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron. [19] He is the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him . [20] Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play. [21] He lieth under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens. [22] The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about. [23] Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth. [24] He taketh it with his eyes: his nose pierceth through snares.
