Integrity

September 19, 2017- Tuesday-#483 Daily Morning Bible Reading and Meditation-Psalm 26 KJV

***Judge me, O Lord ; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the Lord ; therefore I shall not slide.***

[1] Judge me, O Lord ; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the Lord ; therefore I shall not slide.

[2] Examine me, O Lord , and prove me; try my reins and my heart.

[3] For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth.

[4] I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers.

[5] I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.

[6] I will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass thine altar, O Lord :

[7] That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works.

[8] Lord , I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth.

Word to ponder for today:

Integrity

Full Definition
1 : firm adherence to a code of especially moral or artistic values : incorruptibility
2 : an unimpaired condition : soundness
3 : the quality or state of being complete or undivided : completeness

The Psalmist prayer suggested:
1. Challenge- each of us who professed to be the true believers and followers of Christ:
      * Are we walking in our integrity?
      * Do we trust The LORD enough to consider Him in every decision we have made and are to be made?
      * Did we not fail to see His loving kindness, as we walk in His truth?
      * Did we firmly stand on our ground to refuse to sit and join chatting with vain persons, nor go within the group whose thoughts, words and deeds initiates confusion and dissembling?
      * Did our spoken words implies thanksgiving and testimonies of how GOD has been wondrously doing in our lives?
      * Did we love The LORD enough that it drives us into a closer relationship with Him; loving even the house where praises of Him are heard, where the congregations meet up to bless The Name of The LORD?

2. Commitment- As he have experience the workings of GOD in His life, he vowed his commitment not to walk and sit with vain persons, nor go in with them who causes confusions and spreading false news. Are we fully committed to do the same?

3. Confirmation- He is resolved to follow the LORD to walk in His ways; testifying not only by his words, but also through his ways of life and his action according to The Law of The LORD, praising GOD, in the midst of the congregation.

4. Corroboration- He firmly stand on His faith in The LORD. His faith was never compromised nor influenced by those who willfully lived in sin. Neither he desires to be friend with bloody men and them who received bribes, but choose to be in the house of The LORD worshipping with the congregation who also love The LORD.
Does our faith strong enough not to be tempted to gain wealth illegally, or compromise our faith in working to earn money than giving our first day for The LORD's service?

Integrity means choosing to walk in the precepts of The LORD. It is also proclaiming His Name not only in words but in action, in belief and in commitment to HIS works.

Choose to walk with integrity. Choose to give  GOD the praises and glory,  through believing in His Son JESUS CHRIST ONLY!

Be blessed always and ever!

Good morning!

Psalm 26:1-12 KJV

[1] Judge me, O Lord ; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the Lord ; therefore I shall not slide. [2] Examine me, O Lord , and prove me; try my reins and my heart. [3] For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth. [4] I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers. [5] I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked. [6] I will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass thine altar, O Lord : [7] That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works. [8] Lord , I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth. [9] Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men: [10] In whose hands is mischief, and their right hand is full of bribes. [11] But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem me, and be merciful unto me. [12] My foot standeth in an even place: in the congregations will I bless the Lord .
