October 15, 2017-Sunday-#509- Daily Morning Bible Reading and Meditation- Psalm 52 KJV
***But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever. ***
[1] Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of God endureth continually.
[2] Thy tongue deviseth mischiefs; like a sharp razor, working deceitfully.
[3] Thou lovest evil more than good; and lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah.
[4] Thou lovest all devouring words, O thou deceitful tongue.
[5] God shall likewise destroy thee for ever, he shall take thee away, and pluck thee out of thy dwelling place, and root thee out of the land of the living. Selah.
[8] But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever.
[9] I will praise thee for ever, because thou hast done it : and I will wait on thy name; for it is good before thy saints.
Thoughts to ponder for today:
But I Am like a Green Olive Tree in The House of GOD
There be many who boasted and speak lies and deceit against God's children. Their tongue is to destroy reputation of the righteous for them to work their way for their own selfish ambition; love of money and praises of men.
However, the righteous saints of GOD shall be like a green olive tree in the house of GOD. Because he trust in the mercy of GOD for ever and ever.
Thank you LORD for the blessed comfort you have given to me this morning. You are indeed a loving GOD who knows my weaknesses. You deal with my pressures, my fatiguability and my distress in Your very own personal way. You indeed is my comfort, giving me strength in my weaknesses to face this challenge I am going through right now. The power of Thy Holy Spirit strengthen me today. I am like a green olive tree in Your House O, GOD. I trust in Your mercy for ever and ever!
I thank you from the bottom of my heart!
My praises and honor and glory belongs only to YOU O, My LORD, My SAVIOR and REDEEMER JESUS CHRIST.
AMEN!
Good Sunday morning!
Psalm 52:1-9 KJV
[1] Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of God endureth continually. [2] Thy tongue deviseth mischiefs; like a sharp razor, working deceitfully. [3] Thou lovest evil more than good; and lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah. [4] Thou lovest all devouring words, O thou deceitful tongue. [5] God shall likewise destroy thee for ever, he shall take thee away, and pluck thee out of thy dwelling place, and root thee out of the land of the living. Selah. [6] The righteous also shall see, and fear, and shall laugh at him: [7] Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness. [8] But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever. [9] I will praise thee for ever, because thou hast done it : and I will wait on thy name; for it is good before thy saints.
