October 23, 2017-Monday-#515 Daily Morning Bible Reading and Meditation- Psalm 58 KJV
***So that a man shall say, Verily there is a reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth.***
[1] Do ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men?
[2] Yea, in heart ye work wickedness; ye weigh the violence of your hands in the earth.
[10] The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.
[11] So that a man shall say, Verily there is a reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth.
Words to ponder for today:
The Reward For The Righteous
The Psalmist inferred here that not all good works of some people done to others are righteous and upright.
Most good deeds of the doers of iniquity are done for their own profit and benefits.
Some of them gave the "best shots" they can, to get more than they have given.
Some feign to be so compassionate and earn deceitfully the approval of many, then lured his or her victim to the pit of destruction, derision even unto death.
The simple, the fool and the innocent are their subject. Those who are hungering from acceptance, from appreciations and from allurements are their easy targets. The simple, the fool, and the ignorant who pretended to be wise would not decipher the wicked's subtle snare . They willingly gave themselves to be fooled around, even gave their lives without even understanding they are trampled under feet, even until their last breath. The wicked and the ignorant both died helpless; the wicked in their iniquities, the foolish in their simplicity and ignorance, both their souls are destined to perish in hell.
But the wise who have accepted the way, the truth and the life which is JESUS CHRIST, the gift of salvation from GOD, are justified. They are called to be walking with discernment and imputed to them are GOD's righteousness. They are delivered from the wiles of the wicked because they choose to obey GOD's commandment, they choose to live according to GOD's words, and they choose to love GOD above all.
This is what Apostle Paul has written in his epistle:
Romans 8:1-2,6-7 KJV
[1] There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
[2] For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
[6] For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
[7] Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
The reward for the righteous who choose to walk after the Spirit of GOD:
*Life of deliverance, peace, joy and contentment in whatever situation this world may offer .
*Everlasting life with all the chosen people of GOD even life with His Only Begotten Son and the Savior and LORD JESUS CHRIST.
These are the fulfillment of our faith, hope and charity.
Let all those who accepted, believed and called upon The Name of The LORD, know these precious rewards for the righteous.
Have a blessed Monday morning!
Psalm 58:1-11 KJV
[1] Do ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men? [2] Yea, in heart ye work wickedness; ye weigh the violence of your hands in the earth. [3] The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies. [4] Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: they are like the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear; [5] Which will not hearken to the voice of charmers, charming never so wisely. [6] Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth: break out the great teeth of the young lions, O Lord . [7] Let them melt away as waters which run continually: when he bendeth his bow to shoot his arrows, let them be as cut in pieces. [8] As a snail which melteth, let every one of them pass away: like the untimely birth of a woman, that they may not see the sun. [9] Before your pots can feel the thorns, he shall take them away as with a whirlwind, both living, and in his wrath. [10] The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked. [11] So that a man shall say, Verily there is a reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth.
