October 11, 2017-Wednesday- Daily Morning Bible Reading and Meditation-Psalm 48 KJV
***For this God is our GOD for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.***
[1] Great is the Lord , and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.
[2] Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.
[3] God is known in her palaces for a refuge.
[4] For, lo, the kings were assembled, they passed by together.
[5] They saw it, and so they marvelled; they were troubled, and hasted away.
[6] Fear took hold upon them there, and pain, as of a woman in travail.
[9] We have thought of thy lovingkindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple.
[14] For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.
Words to ponder for today:
This GOD is our GOD For Ever and Ever
(He will be our guide even unto death)
A beautiful Psalmist's song dedicated to the Chief Musician, for the sons of Korah; the anointed levites singers of the temple of GOD.
This psalm seems to have written complimentary to the victory which GOD, by His own power, had done for King Hezekiah against the blasphemous Sennacherib, King of Assyria, mocking GOD as he have grievously threatened to conquer the land and all the people of Israel. 2 Kings 19
The GOD of Abraham and of Moses and of King David, is indeed a great GOD and worthy to be praise. In every situation, whether it be bad, even worst, He can be the true hope, every nations that fear Him can rely upon.
A beautiful hope which every person can avail through faith; in prayers, in meekness, in humbly abiding and in constant and wholehearted submission to the power of The True GOD, The Creator of all.
This Terrible GOD, is our GOD forever and ever. He is indeed our guide even unto death. His love ushers us from the time we accepted His gift of salvation and onward, even in death passing unto everlasting life.
Great is The LORD! He is worthy to be praise. Nothing is comparable unto Him. He is terrible in His might. Destruction are unto them who are proud and boastful. He causes calamities even the strong winds to break the strength of ungodly men even the mighty kings' alliance; to prove to them that there is GOD, whom they refuse to acknowledge.
But to them who are weak and hope only in HIM, is His favor, compassion and mercy.
Deliverance are unto them whose trust is in GOD, The LORD of lords, The LORD GOD of Hosts.
It was written that we might understand through faith His blessed will; that all whose hearts are to seek Him shall come accepting, believing and calling through faith in The Only Truth, The Only Way and The Only Lofe of His saving grace:
It is written by Apostle Paul
Romans 10:9-17 KJV
[9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
[10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
[11] For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
[12] For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
[13] For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
[14] How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
[15] And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
[16] But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
[17] So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
This GOD, in The blessed Name of Our LORD JESUS CHRIST is our GOD forever and ever. He will guide us even unto death.
Accept Him, Believe Him, Call upon Him now and be among us who are saved!
Good morning!
Psalm 48:1-14 KJV
[1] Great is the Lord , and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness. [2] Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King. [3] God is known in her palaces for a refuge. [4] For, lo, the kings were assembled, they passed by together. [5] They saw it, and so they marvelled; they were troubled, and hasted away. [6] Fear took hold upon them there, and pain, as of a woman in travail. [7] Thou breakest the ships of Tarshish with an east wind. [8] As we have heard, so have we seen in the city of the Lord of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it for ever. Selah. [9] We have thought of thy lovingkindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple. [10] According to thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness. [11] Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgments. [12] Walk about Zion, and go round about her: tell the towers thereof. [13] Mark ye well her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that ye may tell it to the generation following. [14] For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.
