But GOD Is The Strength of My Heart

November 8, 2017-Wednesday-#530 Daily Morning  Bible Reading and Meditation Psalm 73 KJV

***My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.***

[1] Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart.

[2] But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped.

[3] For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.

[17] Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.

[18] Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction.

[19] How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors.

[22] So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee.

[23] Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand.

[24] Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.

[25] Whom have I in heaven but thee ? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.

[26] My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.

Thoughts to ponder for today:

But GOD is The Strength of My Heart

The Psalmist admittance of foolishness and ignorance. V. 22

Just as the Psalmist had been in his expression here, how that his feet was almost gone, when he became envious of the foolish, while seeing them prospered in all their wicked deeds, is as true in the lives of some living saints. How are they so envious while watching and focussing their eyes toward them, who seems to be untouchables and shielded themselves with power, influenced by the wealth they have accumulated from their evil ways.
Drug Lords, gamblers, robbers, dirty politickings and even the most accepted abominable entertainment merchandise of the homosexuals, nowadays became the engulfing fame and fortunes ; wherein, even some believers ignorantly and foolishly accepted and embraced.
It is only when one get a firm grasp in knowing the words of truth that an eye for righteousness be opened and understood; enabling them to see and to choose between the righteousness and foolishness. It is only through listening, learning and letting The Word of GOD freely work within, that a person gets understanding of who, what and how GOD is all about.

As the Psalmist come to realization: "[17] Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end. [18] Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction."

Palatably, every true Christian believers whose eyes are opened to errors of this world,  should make a stand. Each one should learn an uncompromising way of life from the very words and songs they are listening, movies and shows they are watching in their tv's, foods they love to eat, clothes they are wearing, friends they are hanging with, the very business and works they are doing to earn a living, the very deeds they are doing in their public and in private lives, even the very thoughts they are putting in their minds.
It is always a matter of choice. It is also about attaining the wisdom from above that gives a person the skills to compartmentalized his or her judgment much more the desires of his or her heart. If one is overly desensitized with the foregoings of this world, it is impossible to have that godly discernment a believer should have to live a sanctified life.
This is what Apostle Paul strongly condemned in his epistle:  Romans 1:18-32

Let all who professed to be a believers and followers of the Name of The LORD be not only mindful of earthly things, but giving heed more in heavenly things. For this is more acceptable to GOD; henceforth, from where within is His magnificent power working.
It is through walking closely, hand in hand with the precepts of The LORD, so that a true believer be able to keep himself away from envying the foolish and wicked, as it was what the Psalmist have chosen to walked withal, in verse  23-28 of this psalm.

Our strength shall fail us, but if GOD is the strength of our heart, then nothing in this world is overwhelming and awesome than trusting and relying upon GOD. For through Him and in Him is the miraculous strength overflowing within and without. Let us always be reminded of this: Colossians 3:1-2 KJV
[1] If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
[2] Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

Be refresh for today!

Good morning!

Psalm 73:1-28 KJV

[1] Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart. [2] But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped. [3] For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked. [4] For there are no bands in their death: but their strength is firm. [5] They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they plagued like other men. [6] Therefore pride compasseth them about as a chain; violence covereth them as a garment. [7] Their eyes stand out with fatness: they have more than heart could wish. [8] They are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning oppression: they speak loftily. [9] They set their mouth against the heavens, and their tongue walketh through the earth. [10] Therefore his people return hither: and waters of a full cup are wrung out to them. [11] And they say, How doth God know? and is there knowledge in the most High? [12] Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches. [13] Verily I have cleansed my heart in vain, and washed my hands in innocency. [14] For all the day long have I been plagued, and chastened every morning. [15] If I say, I will speak thus; behold, I should offend against the generation of thy children. [16] When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me; [17] Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end. [18] Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction. [19] How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors. [20] As a dream when one awaketh; so , O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image. [21] Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins. [27] For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee. [28] But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord God , that I may declare all thy works.
