In The Day Of My Trouble

November 22, 2017- Wednesday- #543 Daily Morning Bible Reading and Meditation- Psalm 86 KJV

***In the day of my trouble I will call upon Thee: for Thou wilt answer me.***

[6] Give ear, O Lord , unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications.

[7] In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me.

[8] Among the gods there is none like unto thee, O Lord; neither are there any works like unto thy works.

[9] All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name.

[10] For thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God alone.

[11] Teach me thy way, O Lord ; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.

[12] I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore.

[13] For great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell.

Words to ponder for today:

In The Day Of My Trouble

The Psalmist expresses,  in this psalm of prayers, his personal relationship with GOD. The way he has written this psalm, appeared to be, he was just delivered from his circumstantial position, that his overwhelmed spirit, had driven him to write his trust in his GOD who have done great and wonderful thing.  Because he had experienced His great deliverance, he was then resolved that there is none other GOD who answers prayers. That in the coming day of trouble, he will call upon The GOD in Whom he put his trust upon, because he know that He surely will answer him; and that no powerful allies of enemy are able to be victorious over him in their attempt to destroy him.

This should be the gesture of every person, especially believers who have experienced victory; who have attained understanding and have became achievers of good thing. Whether it be profession, possession or positional prowess, they should acknowledge and give credit and honor to The Mighty One, The Only One GOD of all, who endowed each and every human knowledge and understanding, capability to  obtain wealth, and the ability to become an overcomer; not to take the full credit to themselves. For if GOD would not have given this life, no one is able to achieve anything.

GOD is well pleased to them who humbly,
A. ADMIT self nothingness,
B. BELIEVE that GOD sent His Only Begotten SON JESUS CHRIST to be:
   1. the only way to have a personal relationship wih GOD.
   2. the truth about GOD, and
   3. the life everlasting,
C. CALL and CONFESS the Name of JESUS CHRIST, as The Only LORD and Savior; Whom is One with GOD.
D. DEPART from doing evil and befriending wickedness.

The Apostle John have written:  1 John 5:1,13-14 KJV
[1] Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.
[13] These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
[14] And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

As the Psalmist have written:  "[5] For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee." So let all who call upon GOD, only in JESUS CHRIST's Name be not confounded.
For even in the day of my trouble, I can testify that when I call upon GOD in the Name of JESUS CHRIST my LORD, He answered me.
I hope the same to you too.

Good morning!

Psalm 86:1-17 KJV

[1] Bow down thine ear, O Lord , hear me: for I am poor and needy. [2] Preserve my soul; for I am holy: O thou my God, save thy servant that trusteth in thee. [3] Be merciful unto me, O Lord: for I cry unto thee daily. [4] Rejoice the soul of thy servant: for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul. [5] For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. [14] O God, the proud are risen against me, and the assemblies of violent men have sought after my soul; and have not set thee before them. [15] But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth. [16] O turn unto me, and have mercy upon me; give thy strength unto thy servant, and save the son of thine handmaid. [17] Shew me a token for good; that they which hate me may see it , and be ashamed: because thou, Lord , hast holpen me, and comforted me.
