I Will Hear What GOD The LORD Will Speak

November 21, 2017-Tuesday-#542-Daily Morning Bible  Reading and Meditation-Psalm 85 KJV

***I will hear what God the Lord will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly. ***

[8] I will hear what God the Lord will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.

[9] Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.

[10] Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other .

[11] Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.

[12] Yea, the Lord shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.

[13] Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.

Words to ponder for today:

I Will Hear What GOD The LORD Will Speak

Herein is the Psalmist praises and adoration to GOD who have given his people pardon and mercy. He had declared here the goodness of The LORD their GOD for the forgiveness of their sin and for taking them out of their bondage.
From that pardon and forgiveness of their sins, they have experience deliverance. They have experience GOD's bountiful blessings of peace, providence and protection.
Heretofore, he had resolved within himself that he will hear what the LORD speak and would not turn his ears from listening to His words.
This should be the changing of mind of them who have obtained forgiveness. Them who have accepted The LORD JESUS CHRIST as their personal LORD and Savior should not turn back again to their old lives;  should depart from serving idols, should only hear what GOD speaks through His words: the bible.
Only through this change of will and  disposition are the truthfulness of their none compromised faith in The LORD. This is the true meaning of being born again The LORD JESUS CHRIST has spoken in:
John 3:3,7 KJV
[3] Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
[7] Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

Let all who have accepted The LORD JESUS CHRIST as their personal LORD and Savior be not counted foolish in the sight of GOD by going back to the old lies which blinded their eyes for so long. Apostle Peter has written: 2 Peter 2:20-22 KJV
[20] For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
[21] For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it , to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
[22] But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

Let all who have accepted The LORD JESUS CHRIST be resolved to say:  "I will hear what God the Lord will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly."
For in GOD's pardon is salvation;  which produces peace, provision and protection.

Good morning!

Psalm 85:1-13 KJV

[1] Lord , thou hast been favourable unto thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob. [2] Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah. [3] Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger. [4] Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine anger toward us to cease. [5] Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations? [6] Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee? [7] Shew us thy mercy, O Lord , and grant us thy salvation.
