No Good Thing Will GOD Withhold From Them That Walk Uprightly.

November 20, 2017-Monday-#541 Daily Morning Bible Reading and Meditation- Psalm 84 KJV

***For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. ***

[1] How amiable are thy tabernacles, O Lord of hosts!

[4] Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.

[5] Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them .

[9] Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed.

[10] For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

[11] For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

[12] O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.

Words to ponder for today:

No Good Thing Will GOD Withhold From Them That Walk Uprightly.

The Psalmist expressed here his great admiration in the house of GOD in his time. Whether it be the tent or the building, there is something he have within his heart that made him longing for, to be in the tabernacle of GOD, when apprehended or was not given a chance to enter in.
It seems the Psalmist's love for the house of GOD is more than the intense love of Jacob to Rachel, who willingly served Laban for more than 14 years, just to have her with him all his life. For what kind of love that causes one to faint when after being set apart for just a short period of time have not been given a chance to be reunited in the time appointed?
This is the kind of love GOD desires from each of His own people. It is counted righteousness for each of them who have this kind of love for GOD's house. For from this kind of affection sprouted all goodness and  uprightness in all aspect of life and in all ways of living. Henceforth is the love of The Almighty GOD directed all the good things; to be given to them whose heart is wholly resolved to love His commandments, to love His works and to love the things that pleases Him.

This is the meaning of love that The LORD JESUS CHRIST have spoken:
John 14:15,21,23 KJV
[15] If ye love me, keep my commandments.
[21] He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
[23] Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

Most assuredly, no good thing will GOD withhold from them that walk uprightly. It may not always be right away, it may take long to wait, but GOD is true to HIS promise. For GOD search the heart. He knows them who love HIM only when they need and want His benefits and blessings, but to them who truly  love HIM with all their hearts no matter what, putting their trust in GOD whether in good and in bad times, hoping only in Him, good things from The LORD abound towards them; as their faith, hope and charity also manifested in their thoughts, words and in action.

GOD's Words be glorified! Amen!

Good morning!

Psalm 84:1-12 KJV

[1] How amiable are thy tabernacles, O Lord of hosts! [2] My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the Lord : my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God. [3] Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O Lord of hosts, my King, and my God. [4] Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah. [5] Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them . [6] Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools. [7] They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God. [8] O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.
