November 28, 2017-Tuesday-#549 Daily Morning Bible Reading and Meditation - Psalm 92 KJV
***It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord , and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:***
[1] It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord , and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:
[2] To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,
[3] Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.
[4] For thou, Lord , hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.
[5] O Lord , how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.
[12] The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
[13] Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.
[14] They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;
[15] To shew that the Lord is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
Words to ponder for today:
It Is A Good Thing To Give Thanks Unto The LORD
A Psalm or Song for The Sabbath Day.
It is indeed a good thing to give thanks to The LORD. For every souls who wake up every morning were given each opportunity to witness and be a witness of the lovingkindness of The LORD.
Thanking GOD every morning is an attitude and a matter of choice. A choice to be contented and appreciate GOD for all the wonderful thing He has done whether it be big or small. A choice to be discontented; taking for granted the precious little things some people already have in their lives; wanting fretting and desiring to have more and achieve bigger and more each day.
GOD's Mighty Works are clearly seen in heaven and earth; them who do not appreciate them but complains about every life's issues, they are likened to the unbelieving souls who are blinded by worldly materialism with dissatisfaction and discontentment; resenting their Maker about everything.
The Psalmist encourage each one of us to give thanks unto The LORD. For He knew through experience that in thanksgiving, GOD is well pleased. For He never failed to show forth His lovingkindness in giving each one common grace. Each one are given sunlight to brightens up the day, and darkness in the night to faithfully gives each one time to rest. But the wicked wasted their days in foolishness. Their eyes are wide awake in the night contemplating harmful devices to their innocent victims.
Nevertheless, as it is well pleasing unto The LORD, the thanksgiving of them that are planted in the courts of The LORD's house, they then shall be covered by the shadow of The ALMIGHTY. Their righteousness flourish like a cedar tree. No weapon of the enemy, nor the device of the workers of iniquity is able to destroy them. For The LORD's Mighty works makes His anointed to flourish, they shall never be confounded for GOD is the rock of their salvation ; the shield and fortress unto them whose trust is in HIM.
Let us all be reminded of what Apostle Paul has written to the Ephesian Church:
Ephesians 5:14-21 KJV
[14] Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. [15] See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
[16] Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. [17] Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is .
[18] And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
[19] Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
[20] Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
[21] Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
It is a good thing to give thanks unto The LORD, and sing praises unto HIS Name; for He never fail to show forth His lovingkindness each and every morning of our days, even His faithfulness of our every night .
Good morning!😇❤️
Psalm 92:1-15 KJV
[1] It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord , and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: [2] To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night, [3] Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound. [4] For thou, Lord , hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands. [5] O Lord , how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep. [6] A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this. [7] When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever: [8] But thou, Lord , art most high for evermore. [9] For, lo, thine enemies, O Lord , for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered. [10] But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil. [11] Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me. [12] The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. [13] Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. [14] They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing; [15] To shew that the Lord is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
