To Day If Ye Will Hear HIS Voice

December 1, 2017-Friday-#552 Daily Morning Bible Reading and Meditation-Psalm 95 KJV

***For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice, ***

[1] O come, let us sing unto the Lord : let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

[2] Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

[6] O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.

[7] For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,

[8] Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

Words to ponder for today:

To Day If Ye Will Hear HIS Voice

A Psalm without specific, written Author in it, yet The Apostle  in Hebrew 4: 7 attributed it to King David, when he preach and led his people to come, worship and sing joyfully for The LORD.

"[1] O come, let us sing unto the Lord : let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation."
An invitation to come and join the assembly, who are saved by The LORD; to sing and make a joyful noise.

There is no other gatherings, or congregational singing done, for to offer praises in singing unto GOD,than the gatherings of GOD's people at the church.

There is no other place where the preachings and exhortations about GOD is being taught than in the congregation whose delight is to know The GOD who wonderfully wrought salvation to mankind. The GOD who is above all gods, is only known to them who have their hearts surrendered unto The LORD in great fear and faith, that HE alone is All Powerful and Mighty.v.3-5
There is no such invitation to worship and bow down unto GOD, and kneel before Him in prayers, than in the church, where the meek and the humble in heart intend to come together, to hear and listen to the pure preaching and true teaching of the word of GOD; (V. 1,7) who  harden not their hearts after hearing the calling to repentance, acknowledged and admitted their sinful deeds and hopelessness, repented and ask forgiveness from The GOD who is The Only ONE to forgive sins; The ONLY GOD in The Name of JESUS CHRIST, who has given His precious blood for the ransom and redemption of the repentant, sinful soul.
The only saved people who have pondered in their hearts the ardent desires to seek GOD's instruction after believing that their sins are forgiven, through the blood of The Lamb; not hardening their hearts for they are well learned, fully known and wholeheartedly accepted, believed and call upon The Name of The LORD.
Them that hardened not their hearts, fearfully abhorred following the example and deeds of the overthrown people in the wilderness from the church of GOD,  who willfully hardened their hearts, did what pleases them, rose to play sinfully as they have gone back to their old ways and worship idols.

This Psalm in its first part, is a call to worship GOD. But the last part is a warning:
...To day if ye will hear His voice,

[8] Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
[9] When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.
[10] Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:
[11] Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.

Who is able to endure  and stand against GOD's wrath?
Who should not want to enter into GOD's rest?
None  but them who hardened their heart from the calling of The LORD.
He is still calling; knocking at the door of your heart and mind. Harden not your heart. Give heed and let Him in. For only in Him is peace and sweet rest.
The LORD JESUS said:
Revelation 3:20,22 KJV
[20] Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
[22] He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Take heed to His calling and be saved today!

Good morning!

Psalm 95:1-11 KJV

[1] O come, let us sing unto the Lord : let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. [2] Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. [3] For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. [4] In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also. [5] The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land . [6] O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker. [7] For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice, [8] Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness: [9] When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work. [10] Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways: [11] Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.
