November 30, 2017-Thursday-#551 Daily Morning Bible Reading and Meditation-Psalm 94 KJV
***But the LORD is my defence; and my GOD is the Rock of my refuge.**
[17] Unless the Lord had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.
[18] When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O Lord , held me up.
[19] In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.
[20] Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?
[21] They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.
[22] But the Lord is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge.
[23] And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea , the Lord our God shall cut them off.
Words to ponder for today:
The ROCK of My Refuge
The Psalmist seems to have seen and suffered persecutions and tribulations from the triumphant hands of the wicked and ungodly adversary. And though he almost lost his hope in GOD, for what it was seems to him, that GOD has already abandoned him, because of the pain and hardship he and his people have been through, yet his faith that The One who have given ear to mankind shall hear their cries of agony as they asked for help and mercy from The Righteous GOD they have known from among their forefathers.
There were multitudes of thoughts within human's mind that makes a perplexed person confounded; but the comfort of knowing there is The GOD who sees, hears, listen and answer prayers, the GOD who judge righteously, shall not forever be silent. He sometimes allows sufferings for each of His children to remind them HE is still GOD who is able.
There is no other, nor anything that could be able to give us that perfect peace and comfort in the midst of this chaotic world, but GOD.
Only in Him, I have experienced and fully resolved that through all the anxieties, fears, complexities and troubles in life because of sin I have committed, The GOD and Savior in Whom I entrusted and fully surrendered my life, I can testify to the world, that the Rock of my refuge is none other but GOD in The Name of The LORD JESUS CHRIST Whom I have accepted 29 years ago.
I am able to testify how He have lifted me up answered and until now, answering my prayers. If not, I would not wasted my precious time, spending my very first hours in the morning, throughout the day, to testify to you how He have been my Rock of refuge.
I write these things for each of my readers to know GOD, and to decide to change your heart mind and soul into these:
To Admit your sin.
To Believe that as GOD had delivered me so as He could also do to you.
To Cast all your cares, fears, troubles and pain in His Mighty Hand, Call upon Him in the Name of His Only Begotten Son JESUS CHRIST.
To Draw Near to HIM in Prayers through the help and guidance of The HOLY SPIRIT as He indwell your heart after accepting JESUS CHRIST ONLY as your personal LORD and Savior.
As it is written:
Romans 10:9-11 KJV
[9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
[10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
[11] For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
Come, Call and Cast your burdens to The ROCK of my refuge, The LORD JESUS CHRIST, and be save today!
Good morning!
Psalm 94:1-23 KJV
[1] O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself. [2] Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud. [3] Lord , how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph? [4] How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves? [5] They break in pieces thy people, O Lord , and afflict thine heritage. [6] They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless. [7] Yet they say, The Lord shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it . [8] Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise? [9] He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see? [10] He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know ? [11] The Lord knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity. [12] Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O Lord , and teachest him out of thy law; [13] That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked. [14] For the Lord will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance. [15] But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it. [16] Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?
