The Undefiled In The Way

December 25, 2017- Monday-#576-A- Daily Morning Bible Reading and Meditation- Psalm 119:1-25 KJV

*** Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord.***

[1] Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord .

[2] Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.

[9] Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.

[10] With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.

[11] Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

[17] Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word.

[18] Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.

[19] I am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me.

[22] Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept thy testimonies.

Words to ponder for today

 The Undefiled In The Way

Undefiled: uncorrupted, pure, clean

Psalm 119 is the longest song written in the bible; having 176 verses and its author is unknown.

I have to dissect it into six segments, so that I may be able to properly absorb its thoughts; giving heed to its message, as I, through the help of The Holy Spirit, meditate and ponder its words.
In the first part was the Psalmist proclamation of a seemingly personal testimony; as he cannot be able to have penned down this admonition unless he closely observed a person who’s practicing such; if not he himself have experienced this truth about the blessedness of a person that is undefiled in his ways and manner of living.
Obviously, the psalmist confidently attested the characteristic of a man who diligently take heed in seeking the precepts in the presence of of his GOD. And it is only understood by them who, in spite and despite of great trials and afflictions even the oddest circumstances, have chosen to walk hand in hand, heart to heart and heading it all up within GOD’s Only Way, Truth and Life. They are the blessed men and women to whom GOD’s eye is set upon.

“[9] Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.”

This does not remain a question: but it already have given the answer of life’s most asked question.
There is only one way a man, even young man be able to cleanse his way; and that is to take heed according to GOD’s word which is the King James bible. Needless to elaborate further; for this portion of Psalm 119, have detailedly, word for word explicitly stated the very reason of his undefiled, uncorrupted and clean manner of living.
Nothing in this whole wide world, even the very fine and familiar, well knowned school university is able to mold a young man’s character, than when he give heed to studying GOD’s words. And that settles all.

As it is written by Apostle Paul to his disciple young Preacher Timothy:
2 Timothy 2:15 KJV
[15] Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

If we are well oriented and well known in GOD’s way, truth and life, then we can be sure that, in every aspect of life, whether it be good or bad, we will remain waiting for The LORD: trusting His ways, and living within the hope of His blessed promise.

Let us not be found by our LORD undefiled in our ways. Let us take heed each day unto His word.
Let His His blessings continually dwell among us that we may become a blessing to others too.

Have a blessed day ahead!

Psalm 119:1-25 KJV

[1] Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord . [2] Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart. [3] They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways. [4] Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently. [5] O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes! [6] Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments. [7] I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments. [8] I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly. [9] Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word. [10] With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. [11] Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. [12] Blessed art thou, O Lord : teach me thy statutes. [13] With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth. [14] I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches. [15] I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways. [16] I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word. [17] Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word. [18] Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law. [19] I am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me. [20] My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath unto thy judgments at all times. [21] Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, which do err from thy commandments. [22] Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept thy testimonies. [23] Princes also did sit and speak against me: but thy servant did meditate in thy statutes. [24] Thy testimonies also are my delight and my counsellors. [25] My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word.
