December 8, 2017-Friday-#559 Daily Morning Bible Reading and Meditation-Psalm 102 KJV
***But thou, O LORD , shalt endure for ever; and thy remembrance unto all generations.***
[1] Hear my prayer, O Lord , and let my cry come unto thee.
[2] Hide not thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble; incline thine ear unto me: in the day when I call answer me speedily.
[3] For my days are consumed like smoke, and my bones are burned as an hearth.
[11] My days are like a shadow that declineth; and I am withered like grass.
[12] But thou, O Lord , shalt endure for ever; and thy remembrance unto all generations.
[13] Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.
[21] To declare the name of the Lord in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem;
[28] The children of thy servants shall continue, and their seed shall be established before thee.
Words to ponder for today:
Forever and Ever
From the commentary of Charles Spurgeon, it was said: -
"TITLE. A prayer of the afflicted, when he is overwhelmed, and poureth out his complaint before the Lord. This Psalm is a prayer far more in spirit than in words. The formal petitions are few, but a strong stream of supplication runs from beginning to end, and like an under-current, finds its way heavenward through the moanings of grief and confessions of faith which make up the major part of the Psalm. It is a prayer of the afflicted, or of "a sufferer, "and it bears the marks of its parent age; as it is recorded of Jabez that "his mother bore him with sorrow, "so may we say of this Psalm; yet as Rachel's Benoni, or child of sorrow, was also her Benjamin, or son of her right hand, so is this Psalm as eminently expressive of consolation as of desolation. It is scarcely correct to call it a penitential Psalm, for the sorrow of it is rather of one suffering than sinning. It has its own bitterness, and it is not the same as that of the Fifty-first. The sufferer is afflicted more for others than for himself, more for Zion and the house of the Lord, than for his own house. When he is overwhelmed, or sorely troubled, and depressed. The best of men are not always able to stem the torrent of sorrow. Even when Jesus is on board, the vessel may fill with water and begin to sink. And poureth out his complaint before the LORD. When a cup is overwhelmed or turned bottom over, all that is in it is naturally poured out; great trouble removes the heart from all reserve and causes the soul to flow out without restraint; it is well when that which is in the soul is such as may be poured out in the presence of God, and this is only the case where the heart has been renewed by divine grace. The word rendered "complaint" has in it none of the idea of fault-finding or repining, but should rather be rendered "moaning, "--the expression of pain, not of rebellion. To help the memory we will call this Psalm THE PATRIOT'S PLAINT."

Is there really such as forever and ever in this world, whether it be affliction, sorrow, joy even life itself?
Nothing!
In this world, where the lives of men are remembered only until third and fourth generations, there is nothing remains as it is, nor there is forever and ever.
Not even among us can really trace clearly the beginning of our ancestors.
Compare even among all books of faith, there is no other book, which contain the truth about the true beginning, but one. The rest are manmade ideas and allegory; where in, at some point, are unprovable. Only this book, the King James Bible which was preserved and inspired by GOD, the Mighty ONE, lasts throughout generations.
Indeed, It was so. So that we can know that there is Only ONE who lasted from everlasting to everlasting.
The GOD who Created all things with His Only Begotten SON JESUS CHRIST, which was given to be The Only Conqueror of death; The Only One who died, buried and rose again to live for eternity. The One who was witnessed by them who walks with Him, heard Him speaking, worked with side by side, who weep, laugh, eat, drink and did all wondrous things which they saw with their naked eyes.
There is no permanent in this world even birth and death. all will come to pass. No wars, nor grief, no life, nor deep shall remain from its nature. All progressively or regressively have their own courses.
Human's strength even fragility is also unstable. Today we are joyful, tomorrow we wake up with sorrow. Life is just like a roller coaster that runs through its pattern rails and stop in it's appointed time which only The Creator knows when.
So therefore, better yield to The ONE who is eternal. For He surely knew what He has planned for every soul. Let not discouragement, disappointment, anger nor resentment rule over. For it is better to have peace and rejoicing within; as we know that our CREATOR is pleased when our prayers is heard.
Philippians 4:4-7 KJV
[4] Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. [5] Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
[6] Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
[7] And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Pour it all out to GOD, even to The LORD JESUS CHRIST who knows our beginning and our ending. Let all souls know that He is always there forever and ever.
Amen!
Good morning!
Psalm 102:1-28 KJV
[1] Hear my prayer, O Lord , and let my cry come unto thee. [2] Hide not thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble; incline thine ear unto me: in the day when I call answer me speedily. [3] For my days are consumed like smoke, and my bones are burned as an hearth. [4] My heart is smitten, and withered like grass; so that I forget to eat my bread. [5] By reason of the voice of my groaning my bones cleave to my skin. [6] I am like a pelican of the wilderness: I am like an owl of the desert. [7] I watch, and am as a sparrow alone upon the house top. [8] Mine enemies reproach me all the day; and they that are mad against me are sworn against me. [9] For I have eaten ashes like bread, and mingled my drink with weeping, [10] Because of thine indignation and thy wrath: for thou hast lifted me up, and cast me down. [14] For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof. [15] So the heathen shall fear the name of the Lord , and all the kings of the earth thy glory. [16] When the Lord shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory. [17] He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer. [18] This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the Lord . [19] For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the Lord behold the earth; [20] To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death; [21] To declare the name of the Lord in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem; [22] When the people are gathered together, and the kingdoms, to serve the Lord . [23] He weakened my strength in the way; he shortened my days. [24] I said, O my God, take me not away in the midst of my days: thy years are throughout all generations. [25] Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands. [26] They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed: [27] But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end. [28] The children of thy servants shall continue, and their seed shall be established before thee.
