***Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
***
[1] Praise ye the Lord . Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord , that delighteth greatly in his commandments.
[2] His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
[3] Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.
[4] Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
[5] A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.
[6] Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.
[7] He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord .
Words to ponder for today:
Unto The Upright There Ariseth Light In The Darkness
This psalm reflected the blessedness of the man that feared The LORD.
Them that delighted greatly in GOD's commandment, which can only be proven in the time of overshadowing darkness, when for some, there is nothing left but hopelessness; yet in the upright in heart is a light arises.
A Light arises to them whose hope and help is asked from The Heavenly and Holy LORD. The Light Who once became a Man spake in the manner of man, walk and live according to the lowest and humblest form of mankind, taught man that in the fear of GOD, and in taking heed to His commandments is an everlasting life with The Creator of all. John 1:1-17, John 10:27-30.
This Psalm taught us all believers that the fear of GOD is indeed a blessing.
For it is beneficial not only to the direct subject person, but the blessings are enjoyed even by his children, and his children's children if it is taught and observed. That fear of GOD, which is the basic foundation of faith, is easy to be entreated and is the source of all goodness; from whence it produces kindness, meekness, compassion, consideration, obedience, orderliness and charity. No highest form of education, much more in the multitude of riches is able to transform the character of a person to become such without the entering of the fear of GOD.
It is the fear which has no torment neither intimidations to provoke others into love; but it is the fear to The LORD which empowered a believers to love GOD's commandments beyond measures.
Apostle Paul has written in 2 Timothy 1:7,13 KJV
[7] For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. [13] Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
Let the fear of GOD be in each of our heart, that we, who are counted upright in GOD's eyes, might be the reflection of Christ love to others; that they may see that Light in us, while we walk in the darkness of this world.
Let the word of The LORD JESUS CHRIST always reminds us: Matthew 5:16 KJV
[16] Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Good morning!
Psalm 112:1-10 KJV
[1] Praise ye the Lord . Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord , that delighteth greatly in his commandments. [8] His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies. [9] He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour. [10] The wicked shall see it , and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.
