The Fear of The LORD Is The Beginning of Wisdom

December 17, 2017-Sunday-#568 Daily Morning Bible Reading and Meditation- Psalm 111 KJV

***The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments : his praise endureth for ever.***

[1] Praise ye the Lord . I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.

[2] The works of the Lord are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.

[3] His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

[4] He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the Lord is gracious and full of compassion.

[5] He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.

[7] The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure.

[10] The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments : his praise endureth for ever.

Words to ponder for today:

The Fear of The LORD Is The Beginning of Wisdom

The introduction of this Psalm prompted every believers to praise The LORD. For who are able and willing to praise GOD, but them who fear Him and had personally experienced GOD's faithfulness and wondrous deeds in their lives?
But to them who do not have yet come to that saving knowledge, much to them who refused to acknowledge that The True GOD is He who has created all things, they shall not come and praise GOD within the congregation of them whom GOD have had acknowledged the humble pleadings of forgiveness, whose sins are forgiven, and their meekness and humility in accepting their depravity are  accounted for their righteousness in the sight of GOD, and are already accepted in the flocks of GOD's beloved.

These flocks are the people who have set their hungering hearts to listen and learn GOD's precepts,  to have an intimate, personal communing through fellowshipping together and feasting upon the goodness of GOD's words, heedfully listening to GOD's promptings from the preaching of GOD's words, and steadfastly living in righteousness, in dauntlessness and in fearlessness even in sharing of the truth about GOD's written words.

As this psalm ended in this phrase:  "[10] The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments : his praise endureth for ever."

So then, it is understood that, them who chose not to give praises to The LORD is foolishness, even wickedness that will lead to perdition and destruction.

Praise ye The LORD!
Recourse to praise The LORD  with your whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation of the righteous.
For the works of The LORD is great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.

Have a blessed Sunday today!

Good morning!

Psalm 111:1-10 KJV

[1] Praise ye the Lord . I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation. [2] The works of the Lord are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein. [3] His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever. [4] He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the Lord is gracious and full of compassion. [5] He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant. [6] He hath shewed his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen. [7] The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure. [8] They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness. [9] He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name. [10] The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments : his praise endureth for ever.
