[1] Praise ye the Lord . Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.
[2] Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.
[6] Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord . Praise ye the Lord .
Words to ponder for today:
Everything That Breath
This last chapter of Psalm conveys and conjured us that we, all breathing creature, should praise The LORD according to His excellent greatness.
To truly PRAISE The LORD, there should be:
P- Passion for GOD’s words
R- Remorseful and repentant from sin
A- Acceptance of self- abasement
I - Introspection of thoughts and desires; intellectual submission to the sovereignty of GOD
S- Surrendered life
E- Eternal security
These should be known to every believers. For The Almighty GOD, In His excellent greatness requires every person not just a mere spoken praises.
The praises He desires should be like an offering of sweet smelling savor; an offering unto GOD which is acceptable and fit unto His excellent greatness.
This was Apostle Paul’s admonition to the Roman believers, which each of us should believe, this is also for us Gentile believers of today:
Romans 12:1-2 KJV
[1] I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
[2] And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Let our voices be heard in the throne of GOD’s grace.
Let everything that breath gives GOD true praises.
Let GOD through JESUS CHRIST’s Name be glorified and exalted.
Through the life of us His saints who are saved by His grace!
Have a blessed day ahead!
