January 31, 2018-Wednesday-#606-Daily Morning Bible Reading and Meditation-Psalm 149 KJV

***For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.***

[1] Praise ye the Lord . Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.

[2] Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

[4] For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.

[6] Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;

[9] To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord .

Words to ponder for today:

The LORD Will Beautify The Meek With Salvation

This second to the last chapter of Psalm have given me an insight of this prophetic song which I believe was joyously written after the people of GOD Israel, have won the battle over their enemies.
They sang a new song, for The Good LORD have given them victory, henceforth the Psalmist was motivated to penned down this psalm to give praises and honor unto GOD who wrought salvation upon them.

Howbeit, it conveys a pleasant message that there will be a time when the saints of GOD shall sing a new song of gladness and joy.  And that the meek who take heed, choose to hear and listen attentively to the voice of The LORD and accepted GOD’s given way of salvation will become beautiful in the sight of GOD. And not only in the sight of GOD, but even other people, shall notice their comeliness;as the purity of their hearts glow and radiates its  shines outwardly to their beings, making them extraordinary among others in their way of thinking, talking and tending.

This has been is in our present generation. Where we now enjoy the fulfillment of that prophecy; the coming of The Messiah, more than two thousand years ago in the Name Of our LORD and Savior JESUS CHRIST, in Whom if we meekly Accept, Believe and Call Upon, shall saves us through His death burial and resurrection. He is the way wherein we walk, the truth about by which we talk, and the life we live as it is for us to behooves.
It is indeed through JESUS CHRIST death, burial and resurrection only,   that all souls shall be save. None other was given under heaven but His Name.
Acts 4:10-12 KJV
[10] Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
[11] This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
[12] Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

This is the only way of salvation GOD has given; even His words which He was spoken before, during and after His earthly ministry, is comparable to the two edged swords which was given to every believers to fight their battle not in physical warring, but on bended knee.
Hebrews 4:12,14 KJV
[12] For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
[14] Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

Praise ye The LORD. Let all GOD’s living saints be joyful to sing GOD’s praises with the ‘two edged swords’, the Bible in their hands. For the LORD beautify the meek with salvation,  as He takes pleasures in hearing His saints wholeheartedly singing His praises.
Let all who comes in the Name Of The LORD JESUS CHRIST be blessed!

Good morning!

Psalm 149:1-9 KJV

[1] Praise ye the Lord . Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints. [2] Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King. [3] Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp. [4] For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation. [5] Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds. [6] Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand; [7] To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; [8] To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; [9] To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord .
