January 8, 2018-Monday-#584- Daily Morning Bible Reading and Meditation- Psalm 127 KJV
***Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.***
[1] Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
[2] It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.
[3] Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord : and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
[4] As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
[5] Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
Words to ponder for today:
Except The LORD Build The House, They Labour In Vain That Build It
A commentary from The Treasury Of David said:
“God's blessing on his people as their one great necessity and privilege is here spoken of. We are here taught that builders of houses and cities, systems and fortunes, empires and churches all labour in vain without the Lord; but under the divine favour they enjoy perfect rest. Sons, who are in the Hebrew called "builders", are set forth as building up families under the same divine blessing, to the great honour and happiness of their parents. It is THE BUILDER'S PSALM. "Every house is builded by some man, but he that built all things is God", and unto God be praise.”

Truly, it is only through the common grace that each individual have the apanage of belongings, much more a household is privileged to be called a “family”; for not all persons are born into such a natural environ.
Some are blessed to have a pleasant and peaceful surroundings, some are importunate to be born from abusive, disorderly and violent engendering.
I have a hard time coming up with this topic: building a family, that it took me two days to complete this meditations.
For introspectively and retrospectively, I am very well known, that, individuals as I am myself, who have come from an indifferent and inadequate embodiment, might disagree with me, that children are an heritage from GOD. Particularly for mothers who bore her child from rape, and for children who were brought out into this world aberrantly and unwanted.
However, generally, having children is indeed a heritage from GOD. They are given to every couple to continue the lineage of their family. They are given to fulfill the joy, hope and dreams of a married men and women to have their children whom they call their own and will be with them through “ thick and thin, happiness and hardship, who will carry on with them in sickness and in savoring moments.
The Psalmist herein reminded every parent not to dedicate their entire life working from too early until late night, to provide convenient life for their children. But they should keep themselves physically healthy, spending happy moments with family and not preoccupied in so much earning and investing material wealth, so much more than spending time teaching their children to be smart strong, and straight. For in painstakingly and firmly teaching them shall they reap the sweet fruit of goodness in their agedness.
Smart, sound and secured grown up children are their parents’ joy and confidence, for they shall surely adhere to keep within them the sense of being reliable, responsive and resourceful which is an inherent attitude transmitted to them by their goodly parents.
Nevertheless, this would not be so, if parents, especially fathers, will not come to realized their depravity, repent from their self willfulness and self centeredness and be resolved to trust GOD; giving all the glory and honor unto Him through His Son JEAUS CHRIST, the Creator and Giver of Life.
This is detailedly spoken and written by Apostle Paul in his epistle:
Ephesians 6:4 KJV
[4] And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
In whatever situation you have been from, be happy and dedicatedly spend precious time first with GOD, next to your marriage, and mostly with your children. Be not upset with their small cries and naughtiness, but use that as an opportunity to impart to them godly thoughts and compassionate talk, for in so doing, shall you parents win the heart of your children.
For except The LORD build the house, they labor in vain that build it.
Let The LORD GOD be glorified and magnified in our lives.
Have a pleasant day ahead?ii
