O LORD, Thou Art My Refuge and My Portion in The Land Of The Living

January 24, 2018- Wednesday-#599-Daily Morning Bible Reading and Meditation-Psalm 142 KJV

***I cried unto thee, O Lord : I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.***

[1] I cried unto the Lord with my voice; with my voice unto the Lord did I make my supplication.

[2] I poured out my complaint before him; I shewed before him my trouble.

[3] When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me.

[4] I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul.

[5] I cried unto thee, O Lord : I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.

Thoughts to ponder for today:

O LORD, Thou Art My Refuge and My Portion in The Land Of The Living

To whom I shall cry but to You, O LORD? Who shall be able to lift me up, the same way you have lifted me up from the miry clay, from where you have found me?

None but you O LORD; for many a times, family, love ones, friends and acquaintances failed to uplift me, nor save me from my troubles. No one except you stays with me and pardon me from the transgressions I have committed.
All things here on earth are for my derisions and degradations. Even my beloveds waited to see my downfalls and derailments.
I cried unto you and professed with my whole heart, to proclaim your Holy Name, and now I am fully resolved: O LORD, You are my refuge and my portion in the land of the livings. I shall not want any good things this world may offer, but my only heart’s desire is to see you face to face.
Yet now, as you have granted me the privilege and opportunity to live this precious life, let your loving hand direct me, that I may always choose to please you, to honor you, and magnify your Holy Name. So that people around me may see your glory through the life I am living. Help me to be a vessel of honor that will bring praises and glory to You, O LORD, my Savior and Redeemer.
Let The life I am living now, will become the shadow of your graciousness from whence my beloved family, friends and even my foes shall be able to find comfort with, that they may desire to look for that blessed hope which give me strength, support and satisfaction each and every moment of my life.
All this I ask in prayer in JESUS CHRIST most Holy Name.
AMEN!

To all my beloved fellow out there reading this post:

Family, friends and follower, to whom you cried and seek refuge?
What portion you have in this land of the living?
Have you been disappointed and discouraged?
Have you been degraded  and down hearted?

Turn to the Only Wise GOD.
Take The Name of His Only Begotten Son JESUS CHRIST with you.
Trust That The HOLY SPIRIT of GOD will guide and lead you in the way of life everlasting.
Talk of GOD’s wondrous works after you have wholeheartedly repented from your sin, rejected worldly ways and temporary comfort, and receive GOD’s way of salvation through admitting your sinful ways of life, believing in your heart that there is Only One Way, One Truth and One life, through death, burial and resurrection of GOD’s Only Son, calling only upon His Name; The LORD JESUS CHRIST, and dwelling in His promise through the comforting guidance of The HOLY SPIRIT.

Let this prayer be also yours today.

Be Saved!

Psalm 142:1-7 KJV

[1] I cried unto the Lord with my voice; with my voice unto the Lord did I make my supplication. [2] I poured out my complaint before him; I shewed before him my trouble. [3] When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me. [4] I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul. [5] I cried unto thee, O Lord : I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living. [6] Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I. [7] Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.
