January 28, 2018- Sunday-#603 Daily Morning Bible Reading and Meditation-Psalm 146 KJV
***Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.***
[1] Praise ye the Lord . Praise the Lord , O my soul.
[3] Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.
[4] His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.
[5] Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God:
[6] Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is : which keepeth truth for ever:
[7] Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The Lord looseth the prisoners:
Words to ponder for today:
Your Trust
To whom do you give your praises?
To whom do you put your trust?
The Author affirmed in this Psalm to have given his joyous praises, even his wholehearted trust unto The GOD of Jacob, Whom he seems to be very well known and learned about His Mighty Power from the times of old and henceforth.
In this chapter, even in some other early songs of unknown authors, it appears, all were penned down through their experiences from GOD’s goodness and mighty deeds which wrought great deliverance; proving to some His Omnipresence, Sovereign and All Powerful beings. And it is an awesome thought to ponder that, through the knowledge and understanding about GOD from His written words comes the power of some faithful believers who choose to put their trust in The GOD of the King James Bible, from where it was written that there is this Powerful, Sovereign and Mighty GOD who created all. And that from the beginning of His creation even until today, He is actively involve in every details and forgoing of His every creation.
Woefully, Many do not believe Him and His words. Some considered GOD as a myth or some kind of spirit that dwells in every creature; who wanted people to know Him through the representation of some manmade graven images. Some believe that God runs the minds of some who are possessed by supernatural forces; heals, fortune-tells and prevails to have casted out “evil powers” In the The Name Of The Most High.
However, not that they casted out devils, means that they are of the truth. For many evil spirits who pretended to be of GOD’s, but in fact they are none of His. For The LORD JESUS Himself have spoken:
Matthew 24:4-5,24,26 KJV
[4] And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
[5] For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
[24] For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
[26] Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
This Psalm teach us not to trust in princes, nor in the son of man, for all souls shall die and their body shall go back to the dust.
Let us all then e resolved in adherence to put our trust in GOD, in Spirit and in Truth; who is The GOD of Abraham Isaac and Jacob. The GOD of The Bible who commanded us not have other gods but Only Him, nor make any graven images to serve and bow down to them. For He is a jealous GOD, and He counted them His enemies who choose not to obey Him, but continue to practice those worships which He has forbidden.
TRUST Only GOD.
TAKE The Name Of JESUS CHRIST; GOD’s Only Begotten Son Whom He has given to redeem us from the punishment of hell.
TALK about His wondrous works through the guidance of The HOLY SPIRIT which indwells In you, after you have come to Realize you are a sinner,Repent from your sin, Reject all other ways to get to heaven, but Receive ONLY the LORD JESUS CHRIST as your personal LORD and Savior.
Be a living TESTIMONY of GOD’s greatness from now on and Ever!
Have a blessed day!
Psalm 146:1-10 KJV
[1] Praise ye the Lord . Praise the Lord , O my soul. [2] While I live will I praise the Lord : I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being. [3] Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help. [4] His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish. [5] Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God: [6] Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is : which keepeth truth for ever: [7] Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The Lord looseth the prisoners: [8] The Lord openeth the eyes of the blind: the Lord raiseth them that are bowed down: the Lord loveth the righteous: [9] The Lord preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down. [10] The Lord shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the Lord .
