February 18, 2018- Sunday-#622- Daily Morning Bible Reading and Meditation- Proverbs 15 KJV
***The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.***
[1] A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.
[2] The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness.
[3] The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.
[4] A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.
[7] The lips of the wise disperse knowledge: but the heart of the foolish doeth not so.
[13] A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.
[16] Better is little with the fear of the Lord than great treasure and trouble therewith.
[17] Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred therewith.
[19] The way of the slothful man is as an hedge of thorns: but the way of the righteous is made plain.
[20] A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish man despiseth his mother.
[23] A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it !
[30] The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart: and a good report maketh the bones fat.
[31] The ear that heareth the reproof of life abideth among the wise.
[33] The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility.
Thoughts to ponder for today:
The Eyes Of The LORD are in Every Place; Beholding The Evil And The Good
The Senses in GOD’s Eyes, sees, hears, feels, and tastes.
His scrutinizing Eyes penetrated one’s heart , mind and soul, that nothing can be hidden from Him.
He is The Discerner Of our thoughts, that all things are naked to Him, and that no one, whose deeds are evil could not be able to hide the intentions of his or her heart, despite all efforts to cover up and beautify by subtlety and scheming in this world.
Most verses here pertains to all manner of communications. The tongue which primarily use is to speak and secondly is to taste food , is a powerful part of our body, that, if we will not able to manage, it will goes beyond our control; for it is as powerful as a strong wind, such as violent typhoon, which destroys people’s lives and home.
As it is written in the book of James 3:1-8 KJV
[1] My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.
[2] For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.
[3] Behold, we put bits in the horses' mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body.
[4] Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth.
[5] Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!
[6] And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.
[7] For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:
[8] But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.
However, if the tongue is subject to the guiding power of The HOLY SPIRIT of GOD, the tongue is empowered and able to cleanse corrupted minds, purify dirty thoughts, and is able to control the evil, lustful desires of the heart. . Humbly and repentantly listening to godly and honest rebuke from the spoken words of The LORD, change one’s heart and makes it merry; the Source and fountain of cheerfulness. Admonishing rebuke and reprove makes a wise son his father’s gladness;
but those who hates reprove brings shame not only for himself, but to his mother even to his entire kindred.
It is of a truth: whether we believe or not: The Eyes Of The LORD are in every places; beholding the evil and the good. No one can hide nor run, neither refuse; For He is The Creator and in Him is the rod of correction, even vengeance to them who do not fear, nor give honor and glory to The LORD.
Let GOD be glorified today!
A blessed Sunday to all!
