***In the fear of the Lord is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge.***
[1] Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.
[3] In the mouth of the foolish is a rod of pride: but the lips of the wise shall preserve them.
[5] A faithful witness will not lie: but a false witness will utter lies.
[7] Go from the presence of a foolish man, when thou perceivest not in him the lips of knowledge.
[12] There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
[23] In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury.
[26] In the fear of the Lord is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge.
[27] The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.
[29] He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.
[33] Wisdom resteth in the heart of him that hath understanding: but that which is in the midst of fools is made known.
[34] Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.
Words to ponder for today:
In The Fear Of The LORD Is Strong Confidence
King Solomon, the author of this Proverbs addresses wisdom using female gender pronoun in the preceding chapters;
Proverbs 4:7-9 KJV
[7] Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
[8] Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her.
[9] She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee.
Thus, the first verse speaks about every wise woman, shall build her house; but the foolish plucked it down with her hands.
Consequently, it is obvious to every houses if the residents are wise. It is accounted to the parents, especially the mother who is wholly dedicated to put things together accordingly.
Everything is in order.
The children are polite.
The well-defined sartorial of each family members fits and compliments the occasions.
Healthy food are prepared in time.
The house are cozy to dwell or stay in.
And both the parents speaks the same manner and language that edifies souls.
On the other hand is opposite.
Because the essential is lacking: and that essential is the fear of The LORD; the Author of strong confidence.
The Fear of The LORD which is the beginning of wisdom direct a person to live an orderly life. Them who understand priorities and discipline would not be at ease when things around are messy, untidy and disheveled. They are well organized, oriented and observants. Discretion are in them, and discernment keeps them from the foolish’s snares. They rule and well mannered that even evil and wicked people bow down to them. Otherwise, The LORD GOD’s protection covers them.
They are easily to be entreated. Their hand is not slack and idle in doing that which is good and makes things even better . They are confident and they are the messenger of peace and hope and charity. They are them whose lifestyle reflects their words. They do not only talk the talks, but walk the talks. They are them who walk uprightly and live righteously putting GOD in the center of their heart mind and soul.
This is the works of the wisdom acquired from the true fear ofThe LORD.
“[26] In the fear of the Lord is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge.”
Wherever they go, whatever they may do, in every situation, and in every challenge, their confidence is in The LORD Who is the giver of life, wisdom and understanding.
Let us be one among them.
Have a pleasant morning!

[3] In the mouth of the foolish is a rod of pride: but the lips of the wise shall preserve them. [4] Where no oxen are , the crib is clean: but much increase is by the strength of the ox. [5] A faithful witness will not lie: but a false witness will utter lies. [6] A scorner seeketh wisdom, and findeth it not: but knowledge is easy unto him that understandeth. [9] Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous there is favour. [10] The heart knoweth his own bitterness; and a stranger doth not intermeddle with his joy. [11] The house of the wicked shall be overthrown: but the tabernacle of the upright shall flourish. [12] There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. [13] Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful; and the end of that mirth is heaviness. [14] The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways: and a good man shall be satisfied from himself. [15] The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going. [16] A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil: but the fool rageth, and is confident. [17] He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly: and a man of wicked devices is hated. [18] The simple inherit folly: but the prudent are crowned with knowledge. [19] The evil bow before the good; and the wicked at the gates of the righteous. [20] The poor is hated even of his own neighbour: but the rich hath many friends.
