The Whole Duty Of Man

March 19, 2018- Monday-#650- Daily Bible Reading and Meditation- Ecclesiastes 12 KJV

 *** Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.***

[1] Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;

[7] Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

[8] Vanity of vanities, saith the preacher; all is vanity.

[9] And moreover, because the preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge; yea, he gave good heed, and sought out, and set in order many proverbs.

[10] The preacher sought to find out acceptable words: and that which was written was upright, even words of truth.

[11] The words of the wise are as goads, and as nails fastened by the masters of assemblies, which are given from one shepherd.

[13] Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

[14] For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

Words to ponder for today:

The Whole Duty Of Man

It may seems weird to all people to hear this conclusion the Preacher concluded.
For who is able to refute this sayings from King Solomon, a wise and well respected of all the kings of the kings of this earth, whom GOD had given him all beyond what he ask for?
From being a youth,he was chosen among all his brethren to seat in the throne of his father, King David. He became wise, the most richest of all king in the face  of the earth, the most fair and finesse who have experienced all, even the extreme of having many wives and concubines. Who runs his kingdom in peace and in prosperity, who have seen and witness all things around the circle of the earth.
Nevertheless, his works has been vindicated because of his fear and faith in GOD. For this book’s last chapter started with his admonition to all readers, to remember now their Creator in the days of their youth and ended up to his confidence that all things mankind does, shall come to judge by The All Powerful, The All Knowing, and The Sovereign GOD, who sees, hears listen and never become a respecter of persons.
Moreover, he confirmed that all things man gets, all power and knowledge man attained, even all his goings are vanity of vanities. Because in the end, all will end to nothing; for life shall cease and the soul shall depart and goes back to his Creator.  And what shall it profit a man?
Nothing. Because all his works and the things he treasured most shall be in vain when he died. And what really matter? The life he lives here in this earth; if it is acceptable or an abomination to GOD his Creator, to Whom his soul will face after death.
You might not yet resolved to believe. But friends and foes, whether you believe or not, there is life after death. The soul shall not go anywhere,nor it will vanish in the air like some people believe. Our physical body dies, but not our soul. It is the immortality of man. And before the fall of man, it is destined to reunite with its Creator after death.  But when sin entered, it was cursed and condemned.
Nonetheless, the grace  of GOD that brings salvation had appeared unto all men, as what it was written by Apostle Paul: Titus 2:11-14 KJV
[11] For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
[12] Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
[13] Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
[14] Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

This is the true essence of life. The fact that no one can refute, even in their unbelief. Every living souls will die and face its final destination: in heaven to those who believe in the plan of salvation in the Name Of GOD’s Only Begotten Son JESUS CHRIST, Whom GOD has given to redeem all sinful souls; in hell who do not accept, believe and call upon The Savior.

The LORD JESUS CHRIST has spoken:
Mark 8:35-38 KJV
[35] For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.
[36] For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
[37] Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? [38] Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

Too careful and concern about everything?
Be not so. Trust The LORD and live everything within His care. For it is written, To Fear GOD is the whole duty of man. For GOD and GOD alone  is able to makes all things beautiful in his time, even in times of trouble, trials and testings. Take heed to remember your Creator in the days of your youth, for even in strength there is weariness, even in knowledge and understanding, there is failure. But in GOD, is peace in His comforting words.

Be blessed today and ever!

Ecclesiastes 12:1-14 KJV

[1] Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them; [2] While the sun, or the light, or the moon, or the stars, be not darkened, nor the clouds return after the rain: [3] In the day when the keepers of the house shall tremble, and the strong men shall bow themselves, and the grinders cease because they are few, and those that look out of the windows be darkened, [4] And the doors shall be shut in the streets, when the sound of the grinding is low, and he shall rise up at the voice of the bird, and all the daughters of musick shall be brought low; [5] Also when they shall be afraid of that which is high, and fears shall be in the way, and the almond tree shall flourish, and the grasshopper shall be a burden, and desire shall fail: because man goeth to his long home, and the mourners go about the streets: [6] Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern. [12] And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh. [13] Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. [14] For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
