March 19, 2018-Monday-#651-Daily Morning Bible Reading and Meditation- Song of Songs 1 KJV
*** Draw me, we will run after thee: the king hath brought me into his chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in thee, we will remember thy love more than wine: the upright love thee.***
[1] The song of songs, which is Solomon's.
[2] Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth: for thy love is better than wine.
[3] Because of the savour of thy good ointments thy name is as ointment poured forth, therefore do the virgins love thee.
[4] Draw me, we will run after thee: the king hath brought me into his chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in thee, we will remember thy love more than wine: the upright love thee.
Thoughts to ponder for today:
We Will Rejoice and Be Glad In Thee
I am cautious to give and write in here my personal take from this books, much from this chapter because of its sensitivity; lest I fail to address and deliver its true message. However, the familiarity of some praises, such as in Psalm 118:19-24 KJV
[19] Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the Lord :
[20] This gate of the Lord , into which the righteous shall enter.
[21] I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.
[22] The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.
[23] This is the Lord's doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.
[24] This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Through the guiding promise of The LORD that The Holy Spirit Whom GOD The Father sent in The LORD JESUS CHRIST’s Name, will bring into our remembrance and teach us all things to help us understand His message from every passage we, GOD’s dear children, shall read from GOD’s words; the inerrant, infallible King James Bible.
John 14:26 KJV
[26] But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
John 16:13 KJV
[13] Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
Literally, this Song of Songs is written to give emphasis to a romantic relationship; the strong desires of a woman deeply in love with her chosen beloved man. It also solidify the sincerity and exclusivity of a man’s love to her chosen beloved woman, which lead to the sanctity of marriage. He and his woman are resolved to be emotionally attached to each other; that they both forsook all attention and desires for other relationship; but wholly consummated by that intense affection; that the man is willing to give everything to his beloved wife.
Through this familiar passage from this verse:
[3] Because of the savour of thy good ointments thy name is as ointment poured forth, therefore do the virgins love thee.
[4] Draw me, we will run after thee: the king hath brought me into his chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in thee, we will remember thy love more than wine: the upright love thee.
Thus, this verse spake more of how the justified and the upright love The King and Savior JESUS CHRIST, Who first love His chosen ones. Who through His great and fervent love to His Church will take her in; that He has given His life to sanctify her as His beloved; to whom He has given His Name, His Love and His precious life for her ransom.
Ephesians 5:23,25-27 KJV
[23] For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
[25] Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
[26] That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
[27] That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
Though the woman professed her uncomely look, being darkened by her exposure to the sun and being enslaved by sin’s oppressive power, which is a typology of the worldly exposure to sin, yet through the compassionate love of her beloved man, he is willing to take her into his chamber. Thus typified JESUS CHRIST to present the church as His bride faultless and blameless to GOD His Father on that marriage super Of the Lamb mentioned in Revelation 19:6-9 KJV
[6] And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.
[7] Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
[8] And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
[9] And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
It is the true church of Christ’s blessed hope; the faithful promise and unfailing love of GOD through His Only Begotten Son JESUS CHRIST.
And being a part of the body of Christ, on that blessed day wherein we well see our LORD and Savior face to face, we will sing: this is the day that You LORD has made, we will rejoice and be glad in THEE”.
Let Your Word be magnify O. LORD!
Song of Songs 1:1-17 KJV
[1] The song of songs, which is Solomon's. [2] Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth: for thy love is better than wine. [3] Because of the savour of thy good ointments thy name is as ointment poured forth, therefore do the virgins love thee. [4] Draw me, we will run after thee: the king hath brought me into his chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in thee, we will remember thy love more than wine: the upright love thee. [5] I am black, but comely, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar, as the curtains of Solomon. [6] Look not upon me, because I am black, because the sun hath looked upon me: my mother's children were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards; but mine own vineyard have I not kept. [7] Tell me, O thou whom my soul loveth, where thou feedest, where thou makest thy flock to rest at noon: for why should I be as one that turneth aside by the flocks of thy companions? [8] If thou know not, O thou fairest among women, go thy way forth by the footsteps of the flock, and feed thy kids beside the shepherds' tents. [9] I have compared thee, O my love, to a company of horses in Pharaoh's chariots. [10] Thy cheeks are comely with rows of jewels , thy neck with chains of gold . [11] We will make thee borders of gold with studs of silver. [12] While the king sitteth at his table, my spikenard sendeth forth the smell thereof. [13] A bundle of myrrh is my wellbeloved unto me; he shall lie all night betwixt my breasts. [14] My beloved is unto me as a cluster of camphire in the vineyards of En-gedi. [15] Behold, thou art fair, my love; behold, thou art fair; thou hast doves' eyes. [16] Behold, thou art fair, my beloved, yea, pleasant: also our bed is green. [17] The beams of our house are cedar, and our rafters of fir.
