April 14, 2018-Saturday- #674-Daily Morning Bible Reading and Meditation- Isaiah 16 KJV
***Take counsel, execute judgment; make thy shadow as the night in the midst of the noonday; hide the outcasts; bewray not him that wandereth.***
[1] Send ye the lamb to the ruler of the land from Sela to the wilderness, unto the mount of the daughter of Zion.
[2] For it shall be, that , as a wandering bird cast out of the nest, so the daughters of Moab shall be at the fords of Arnon.
[3] Take counsel, execute judgment; make thy shadow as the night in the midst of the noonday; hide the outcasts; bewray not him that wandereth.
[4] Let mine outcasts dwell with thee, Moab; be thou a covert to them from the face of the spoiler: for the extortioner is at an end, the spoiler ceaseth, the oppressors are consumed out of the land.
[5] And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness.
[6] We have heard of the pride of Moab; he is very proud: even of his haughtiness, and his pride, and his wrath: but his lies shall not be so.
[11] Wherefore my bowels shall sound like an harp for Moab, and mine inward parts for Kir-haresh.
[12] And it shall come to pass, when it is seen that Moab is weary on the high place, that he shall come to his sanctuary to pray; but he shall not prevail.
[13] This is the word that the Lord hath spoken concerning Moab since that time.
[14] But now the Lord hath spoken, saying, Within three years, as the years of an hireling, and the glory of Moab shall be contemned, with all that great multitude; and the remnant shall be very small and feeble.
Words to ponder for today:
Take Counsel, Execute Judgment
The land of Moab, means the land of Moabites. They are the incestuous descendant of Lot, Abraham beloved’s nephew. From Moab was where Ruth, the grandmother of Jesse, the father King David, came from. Becuase of Ruth’s faith in The LORD, and their alliance with David during his reign, wherein they give tribute in 2 Kings 3:4-5 KJV
[4] And Mesha king of Moab was a sheepmaster, and rendered unto the king of Israel an hundred thousand lambs, and an hundred thousand rams, with the wool. [5] But it came to pass, when Ahab was dead, that the king of Moab rebelled against the king of Israel.
Their people became proud and trust in their armors and their mighty men. It seems that they turn their back and betrayed God’s people, Israel, whom GOD allowed to be invaded by their enemies; and some of them were casted out from their lands . Heretofore, GOD gave commandments to Moab in this prophesy through the Prophet Isaiah, that they should repent by becoming a shield to the outcast of GOD’s people; by sending again their tribute of lambs to the rulers that the remnants of Israel may have meat to eat.
But they seems to become so proud, high-minded and haughty. That GOD, if they will not repent, in three years time, their land will also be destroyed anf the remnants shall be very few.
An epitome of how a church of GOD should behave in the sight of GOD. A church should be a shield where an outcast or overly burdened by sin should be the house of rest.
The Pastors, who is an under-shepherd should live a Christ-like life; godly leader, faithful in his commitment to lead, unselfish, with open arms, speaking wholesome and comforting GOD’s words, should not be proud nor self- seeking pre- eminence, meek, but is obeyed and revered first by his wife and children. His helper, whom are the deacons or elders are deep rooted in GOD’s words, having also the same attitude toward the works of the LORD, that they may minister to the lost, even brothers and sisters who are overtaken by sins.
Apostle Paul sets qualification of the ministers of the church as these:
Titus 1:5-9 KJV
[5] For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee:
[6] If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly. [7] For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;
[8] But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate;
[9] Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.
For if the church and its leader failed to continue nor remain into such characteristic and standard of what GOD sets a church should be, the church services shall cease and GOD will allowed desolation and dispersion. Their faithful services when they started in the ministry, will be in vain. As it was spoken of by The LORD and was written by Apostle John to the church of Ephesus: Revelation 2:4-5 KJV
[4] Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
[5] Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
Let all of us; church members, leaders and Pastors, take time to commune with our hearts and connect to GOD in prayers. Spend time talking to Him. If needed, kneel down and cry for repentance, and start to recollect the things which we neglected. We are obliged to comply unto becoming faithful servants to The LORD. Otherwise, we, even we are in the age and dispensation of grace, shall be outcasted and and our services will become abomination to The LORD, the He will allowed it to ceased.
Our salvation is free, even grace abound over all sins. But we have to work out our faith with fear and trembling. So, if from warnings and reminders we be dumb-founded, all of our services unto The LORD will come to nought. It will cease just like our life ends. And when we face the LORD, there shall be gnashing and weeping because of regrets and shame.
Give to GOD now all tour TRUST.
Turn to The LORD n prayers, take counsel, execute righteous judgement.
Repent from your sins and lukewarm services.
Use all of the grace that has given to you to serve GOD with all your heart, mind, soul and strength.
Seek those things which are above not here on earth.
Talk about GOD’s wondrous love, that others may know Him too.
Be one among GOD’s apple of His eyes, and be blessed today and ever!
Havr a pleasant day ahead!
Isaiah 16:1-14 KJV

[6] We have heard of the pride of Moab; he is very proud: even of his haughtiness, and his pride, and his wrath: but his lies shall not be so. [7] Therefore shall Moab howl for Moab, every one shall howl: for the foundations of Kir-hareseth shall ye mourn; surely they are stricken. [8] For the fields of Heshbon languish, and the vine of Sibmah: the lords of the heathen have broken down the principal plants thereof, they are come even unto Jazer, they wandered through the wilderness: her branches are stretched out, they are gone over the sea. [9] Therefore I will bewail with the weeping of Jazer the vine of Sibmah: I will water thee with my tears, O Heshbon, and Elealeh: for the shouting for thy summer fruits and for thy harvest is fallen. [10] And gladness is taken away, and joy out of the plentiful field; and in the vineyards there shall be no singing, neither shall there be shouting: the treaders shall tread out no wine in their presses; I have made their vintage shouting to cease. [11] Wherefore my bowels shall sound like an harp for Moab, and mine inward parts for Kir-haresh. [12] And it shall come to pass, when it is seen that Moab is weary on the high place, that he shall come to his sanctuary to pray; but he shall not prevail.
