July 5, 2023- Morning Bible Reading and Meditation- Micah 1KJV
[3] For, behold, the Lord cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.
[4] And the mountains shall be molten under him, and the valleys shall be cleft, as wax before the fire, and as the waters that are poured down a steep place.
The LORD Cometh Forth Out of His Place
In this introduction of the book of Micah, we can find out the Three Person in One Godhead.
1. The Word of The LORD. v. 1, John 1:1 KJV
[1] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. JESUS CHRIST
2. ..”The Lord God be witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple.” The LORD GOD the Father is seating on His throne. Hebrews 1:3 KJV
[3] Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; Hebrews 12:2 KJV
[2] Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
3. ..The Lord cometh out of His place.. v.3,4 , The HOLY SPIRIT’s workings. Genesis 1:2 KJV
[2] And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
Exodus 3:2 KJV
[2] And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.
John 14:26 KJV
[26] But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
1 John 5:7 KJV
[7] For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
The complexity of Godhead of our LORD, the Righteous Judge who judges His own people, amazingly still made them dissolute in their way of living.
Though it will not be hard for us to understand; because, the HOLY SPIRIT during those times resides only and occasionally to those prophets, like Micah the Morasthite, every time GOD the Father has a message to His people.
It is the power of The HOLY SPIRIT that made them wiser: brighter, braver and bolder in their preachings, so that the warnings; the words of The LORD be precisely preach unto the people.
Even Micah’s lamenting for his people; because their wounds are incurable. v. 8,9
And because of Prophet Isaiah, the so of Amos and Prophet Micah’s preachings that the heart of King Hezekiah strengthen his faith in The LORD; The HOLY SPIRIT gave him the courage to break down the altar and its graven images. And theretofore, the threatening and mocking upon GOD of Rabshakeh the captain of King Sennacherib of Assyria came to nought. 2Kings17-18
In our time today, all true believers and followers of the CHRIST JESUS of the bible were indwells with The HOLY SPIRIT of GOD without taking away our volition.
Our free will most of the time compromises us to hogtied the Holy Spirit which is in us, if we choose to feed the appetite of our old-self.
The LORD JESUS remind us to be:
• Watchful: Matthew 26:41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
• Walk Circumspectly: Ephesians 5:14-18 KJV
[14] Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. [15] See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, [16] Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. [17] Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. [18] And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
• Wait patiently Psalms 27:14 KJV Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
The HOLY SPIRIT keeps reminding us through this epistle of Apostle Paul: 1 Timothy 4:
1-3Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
[2] Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
[3] Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.”
He also wrote to 1 Thessalonians 5:17-23 KJV
[17] Pray without ceasing.
[18] In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
[19] Quench not the Spirit.
[20] Despise not prophesyings.
[21] Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
[22] Abstain from all appearance of evil.
[23] And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Let each one of us whose heart is the dwelling place of The HOLY SPIRIT of GOD be attentive to His promptings, appreciative to His workings in directing our lives, and constantly acknowledge His will.
Let us give all the glory unto GOD in the Name of JESUS CHRIST through the help of The HOLY SPIRIT in us.
Have a blessed day ahead!
Micah 1:1-16 KJV
[1] The word of the Lord that came to Micah the Morasthite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem. [2] Hear, all ye people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the Lord God be witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple. [3] For, behold, the Lord cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth. [4] And the mountains shall be molten under him, and the valleys shall be cleft, as wax before the fire, and as the waters that are poured down a steep place. [5] For the transgression of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? is it not Samaria? and what are the high places of Judah? are they not Jerusalem? [6] Therefore I will make Samaria as an heap of the field, and as plantings of a vineyard: and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will discover the foundations thereof. [7] And all the graven images thereof shall be beaten to pieces, and all the hires thereof shall be burned with the fire, and all the idols thereof will I lay desolate: for she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, and they shall return to the hire of an harlot. [8] Therefore I will wail and howl, I will go stripped and naked: I will make a wailing like the dragons, and mourning as the owls. [9] For her wound is incurable; for it is come unto Judah; he is come unto the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem. [10] Declare ye it not at Gath, weep ye not at all: in the house of Aphrah roll thyself in the dust. [11] Pass ye away, thou inhabitant of Saphir, having thy shame naked: the inhabitant of Zaanan came not forth in the mourning of Beth-ezel; he shall receive of you his standing. [12] For the inhabitant of Maroth waited carefully for good: but evil came down from the Lord unto the gate of Jerusalem. [13] O thou inhabitant of Lachish, bind the chariot to the swift beast: she is the beginning of the sin to the daughter of Zion: for the transgressions of Israel were found in thee. [14] Therefore shalt thou give presents to Moresheth-gath: the houses of Achzib shall be a lie to the kings of Israel. [15] Yet will I bring an heir unto thee, O inhabitant of Mareshah: he shall come unto Adullam the glory of Israel. [16] Make thee bald, and poll thee for thy delicate children; enlarge thy baldness as the eagle; for they are gone into captivity from thee.
