19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
20 And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord.
21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

Lesson: As My Father Hath Sent Me, even so send I You

The first day of the week, that early morning, Mary Magdalene came into the sepulchre; and their Lord was not there.
They saw the tomb was empty, with the linen clothes wrapped Him on His burialwere folded and were placed there arrayed.
Also the napkins, they saw folded together neatly put in its place.
Obviously, what the writer wanted for us to know, it was JESUS who did it all together; as soon as He raised from the dead, very early on that morning of the first day of that week, after three days and three nights, He has been buried on that grave.
And John the beloved, the writer of this book , believed; about what He heard from JESUS when He is yet alive: all those words which He has spoken to them.
It took them to see the empty tomb; for them to believe what was spoken by JESUS is the truth. Nowit all came flooding their thoughts. And this summed it all: JESUS their Master is indeed The Son of GOD: The Savior and The LORD! John 20:1-10 KJV

Then it was Mary Magdalene, who came to the tomb so early, stay still. Wanting so much to know what has been done to her LORD, taking every chance to see Him; reliving how she felt; the warmth and peace she found in Him, like the time He has not yet been crucified, being with them around.
And as she cried in confusion and despair, not knowing where did His enemies bring the dead body of The LORD, she stoop down again to look inside the tomb. And Lo and behold! there were the two angels sitting with their shining white clothes.
Asking her why she cried; and as she answered them, in her back there stood JESUS .
She didn’t recognized Him, because He asked her too: “woman what are you crying and seeking for?”
Then she mistakenly thought he is the gardener, answered Him, “pls tell me where did you bring my Lord? Pls tell me so that I may take Him with me.”
And JESUS called her name: Mary..and she come to her senses that she exclaimed: Rabonni!
Her Master show Himself to her; calling her name and commanding her to go and tell to His brethren, that He was risen from the grave.
And the zealousness of following JESUS even unto the grave where He laid; made Mary to be so blessed.
For she is the first one to see JESUS after He was risen from the dead!
Called her by her name; is the sweetest voice, each one of us wanting so much to hear. John 20:11-17 KJV -

Mary Magdalene is a person of a greatly redeemed, deep-sunk sinner. That after having been pardoned from her sins, she felt the overflowing joy of being freed, that she wholly gave her life to her Savior, wholeheartedly love the Pardon Giver and willingly do what it takes; in obedience, to get closer to her LORD.
Some of those witnesses who have gone before us do the same; that they did not think of what might happen to their lives, but gave their all just to prove their wholehearted obedience to their Savior; even if their zealousness caused their grievous death. Surely, their faith in JESUS, their labor and dedication to love the LORD has been already rewarded.

The LORD rose again that first day of the week. It was Sunday that JESUS has shown Himself alive again to Mary Magdalene and eventually, to the ten of His disciples, whom were gathered together in close-door room, after they heard from Mary that He arose from the dead. The cause of their fear of the Jews? The tomb was opened and JESUS’ body was not there!

And these miracles have The LORD did that were witnessed by them after His resurrection:
1. He passed through the close door and went into the midst of them; showing them his hands and His pierced side.
2. He pronounced to them: “Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.”
3. He performed to them the anointing of the HOLY GHOST by breathing on them; then
4. He proclaimed and packed them off; send out to preached to all His gospel. Giving them power and instruction in the HOLY SPIRIT, what they would and must do in His Name.
John 20:17-23 KJV -

These words, were pass through us; that as we embrace the faith He has given to each of us who call upon His Name, come to GOD to accept the gift of salvation in His Name, and cleave to Him in the faith which He also has given to many even as of today.

But not all who was called to follow and serve The LORD, wholly put their faith in Him. For the first whom was fallen away out of grace was Judas Iscariot, because of his disbelief in JESUS, and then it was Thomas: He was not there to witnessed and heard the comforting and commanding word of the LORD. Because  even before, he seems to be just there to “watch and see”that the miracles of what JESUS did while with them, had not sunk deeper, nor rooted him in the faith, through what The LORD JESUS had done; for in this account written in John 11:16, he seems as if he is mocking JESUS in his answer to The LORD’s spoken words: John 11:14,15

Many among the so-called believers are not fully convinced that JESUS is really the I Am; some said He is just a man; some settled their belief that He is just one among the prophets. Some were fallen; caused themselves discontentment, that they keep on searching and searching more for the truth that may satisfy their understanding; they failed, giving up themselves to be misled and eventually have gone astray.

But to us, when The LORD said: “ as the Father hath sent Me, so send I you.”

We keep on working our way to be like Him in:

• Observing GOD the Father’s ways
• Obeying GOD the Father’s will.
• Offering Himself to do GOD the Father’s works

Our character and attitude toward the works which The LORD sent us to, must reflect The LORD’s attribute in a way that His words will be believed by the hearers. Let these be our guide:

➢ We should be determined to see and stay seeking the LORD every day, like Mary Magdalene who did not leave as soon as she found out the tomb was open, that she was rewarded when JESUS appeared to her, calling her in her name. Not to depart too quickly like those apostles who came after her; for fear that the Jews might find them there.
➢ We should be diligently devoted in following the LORD like Mary Magdalene, who obeyed the LORD when she was told to tell to His disciples that He has risen. Not doubtful like Thomas, that instead of believing, he argued to his colleagues; that for him to “see is to believe”.

We are so blessed that in our present time, serving The LORD is not so much as uncertain, if seeing with our eyes will be the question, as in their time. All we’re written for our understanding; as what the LORD saidv. “29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

30 And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:

31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

If we say we are among the believers of The LORD, let us give the best we can, because the LORD sees, hears and listens, and surely, If we wholeheartedly seek and obey Him, our labor will never be in vain.Let’s wholly take what He said: as the Father hath sent me, so send I you.”
For our LORD and Savior is a gracious GOD, and He gives recompense and reward to all of the intents of our heart.

Let the blessed Name of JESUS and His Holy Words continually magnifies in our lives until the last breath we take; always, throughout our days.

Good morning
