5] Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No.
[6] And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.

11 Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken.
12 Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord.
13 Jesus then cometh, and taketh bread, and giveth them, and fish likewise."

Topic: Come and Dine

The disciples: led by Peter, after they saw the resurrected Master JESUS, and heard Him sending them off; having already been breathed of The HOLY GHOST by TheLORD, went their way back to their former lives; went together fishing. And they caught none.
Then appeared to them their Master: The LORD JESUS; calling them “children” as He asked them if they have any meat; that upon hearing from them, they caught none, commanded them to cast the net on the right side; and they caught fishes in multitude.

JESUS: their Loving LORD, even if they deserted Him and did not took seriously what their Master told them, still guide and come to them; even giving them the catch for the work they chose to have; when they have none from the almost -all -night toilingfor the fishing they all agreed to do. As a father to his children, JESUS’ provision never ceases even if they turn to their own way of living.
That is how gracious, compassionate and merciful our LORD JESUS is. John 21:1-13KJV this just proved to us what the prophet Isaiah prophesied: Isaiah 9:6 KJV

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Lesson we must learn from these verses:JESUS then and now keep on watching over us; inviting always in this age of grace. If we turn our back from following the voice of our LORD, from what He wanted us to do, we will just be wasting our time, effort, and money in pursuing our desire. Therefore, better to put our trust and reliance upon JESUS The LORD, wholeheartedly follow and allow Himto be the One to sustain us of the things we needed, even the things we wanted while we live here in this world. These must be our goal in this life:

➢ Taking heed first to JESUS’ words,
➢ Trusting in obedience according to his will, then
➢ Testifying about the goodness of His workings in our lives, and all good things whether we expected or not will surely and exceedingly comes next, which will immensely overwhelm us.

Then while they gathered around the fire where fishes from their catch was being broiled, then this heart to heart talk of the LORD JESUS with Peter: As three times Simon Peter denied JESUS the LORD during His trials, three times Peter was also asked by the resurrected JESUS their LORD, if he loves Him more than those things he returned to pursue after denying Him. And Peter grieved; gave up his grip upon his self-confidence. V.15-17 Because he knew now; Only JESUS have the knowledge about who he really is and the measure of human’s capability to love. The same way we never can know to what extent we can go on with our faith in JESUS; He even know the limit of the love we can give to His ministry.
Only JESUS is able to love us unconditionally; without turning back.

What JESUS commanded to Peter, this third times He shewed Himself up after His resurrection:

1. Feed my lamb, (feed the children and the young in the faith, the fragile and the vulnerable) v.15

2.  Feed my sheep, feed my sheep( feedthe grown- ups: the weak and the strong in faith, the goers and the givers. v.16,17
2. Follow me. (In dedication to the ministries which the LORD love, in danger, even in death) v.18,19

The LORD made sure Peter understood the gravity of His commandment through asking him question three times. And surely, Apostle Peter knew; for the written word of GOD recorded Peter did became the chief of the Apostles who walked with the LORD during His earthly ministry. He even corrected Peter not to question the LORD’s dealing to others whom He anointed to be in the ministry. v. 21,22, What JESUS wanted for Peter to understand: He should focus on the calling wherein he was called by his LORD and Master.

For each called servants of CHRIST have their own unique calling; the very reason why there is autonomy in ever true church of CHRIST. No preeminence; only the Eminency of JESUS CHRIST our LORD and Savior.
Having said all of these, we should be known that these has been passed through out generations; though the setting of churches varies, the same commandment was given to all called pastors: “feed my lamb, feed my sheep, follow me.”
This is why there are still pastors, ministers and teachers who answered to GOD’s calling. That the same commandment is the primary goal: persistently pressing on to lead people to CHRIST; for this very truth: there is a danger coming. The gravity? By how GOD seriously sent His own Beloved Son to die on the cross, is also how seriously grievous the punishment of hell is, and that people must and needed to be saved

And there is no other name under heaven whereby living souls must be saved: Acts 4:12 JESUS CHRIST the Messiah: The Savior and Redeemer of every soul.Romans 5:8, John 14:6.

All people in our lives even those whom we meet should:

• Accept His gift of salvation. Acts 4:12
• Believe that He is the Son of GOD sent for the redemption of mankind Acts 16:31
• Call upon GOD in prayer un JESUS CHRIST Name, Romans 10:13 and be
• Delivered from the punishment of hell.Romans 6:23, 8:1, 1 Cor. 6:19,20

The Son of GOD Who’s inviting them Come and Dine gave them a total of 153 great fishes, which if summed up equal tonumber 9, 0f which number is given for the fruit of the spirit in Galatians 5:22  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” These all were given to the Apostles that they were able to finished their task here on earth in the faith of JESUS CHRIST their Master and LORD.

Another song I have composed from this chapter:

             Come and Dine

When JESUS gives, He gave the best!
Great multitude of fishes, not small but big.
Even how many He has given them, counted in numbers it’s perfect.
That what they have recorded, it summed up to fruitfulness.

This is just one among GOD's way to tell usall He created,
When He sent His Son JESUS, He is for our goodness, if we believe.

So why still give time to hesitate, why not just come to Him and find rest?

He is the source of all provision, the Only One that can satisfies our need,

He called His chosen ones; bid them "come and dine"
He knows what His people need, not only for that hour, but all the time.
It is just only upon our decision, if we hearken to His calling;
And have the desire to feast on the tableHe prepared,

Just like them whom He called His own, when He said:" you are Mine!"

All must be saved; all among our love ones, acquaintances, and those whom we meet should know that JESUS is the Promised MessiahWe must be confident to prove to them that the ultimate answer to all of our questions, peace to our weary souls, and completeness of our beings is the Author of the book of Life: The Bible. Let them know that JESUS CHRIST was, He is in our present and the One who is to come.

Let His Name be magnified in our lives everyday and always.

John 21:1-25 KJV

After these things Jesus shewed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and on this wise shewed he himself. [2] There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples. [3] Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing. [4] But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus. [5] Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No. [6] And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes. [7] Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher's coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea. [8] And the other disciples came in a little ship; (for they were not far from land, but as it were two hundred cubits,) dragging the net with fishes. [9] As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread. [10] Jesus saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught. [11] Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken. [12] Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord. [13] Jesus then cometh, and taketh bread, and giveth them, and fish likewise. [14] This is now the third time that Jesus shewed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead. [15] So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs. [16] He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. [17] He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep. [18] Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not. [19] This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me. [20] Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee? [21] Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do? [22] Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me. [23] Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? [24] This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true. [25] And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.
