[8] Jesus answered, I have told you that I am he: if therefore ye seek me, let these go their way

9] That the saying might be fulfilled, which he spakeOf them which thou gavest me have I lost none.

Topic: I Am He

In the midst of betrayal and rejection, the power of JESUS as the Son of GOD can still be seen and recorded in the history of mankind. He fully was aware that these will come to happen according to the written prophecies with this; “of them which thou gavest me have I lost none.”

Taking all the accountabilities as His own, proving even in their blindness and uncomprehending mind, that pHe alone, as the Supreme Son of GOD, has the power to defend Himself and set free, them whom He called His flocks; whereof, from this instance, He submitted Himself to be taken by His accusers; for it must come. Nevertheless, He made sure none among His disciples will be hurt nor be touched by His indictors.

This very hour, The LORD of glory knewthat this will come to happen. He has to face it alone; forsaking His Godhead, and surrendered His humanity to the misjudgment that will lead Him to the sufferings on that cross: the grievous and dreariest form of sacrifice He has to bear alone; for the sake of yours and mine freedom from sin and salvation.

From the reading of John 18:1-9 KJV, come these clear passages that this has been concluded.

Peter in his aggressive manner draw out his sword and cut the ear of the high priest’s servant whom was named here Malchus;(from other gospel was unnamed), but JESUS rebuked him saying these words: “Put up thy sword into the sheath: the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?” verses 10-14

It was GOD the Father’s plan, that this has been prophesied unknowingly by the high priest Caiphas himself: “it was expedient that one man should die for the people.” Who himself is the author of condemning JESUS to death. (Verses 10-14) From other gospel, the ear of Malchus that was cut off was restored back by JESUS, yet none ofHis oppressors ponder on these things.

Luke 22:50-51 KJV - 50 And one of them smote the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear.

51 And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him.

They are so soaked in the law of Moses that they were not able to comprehend the promised Messiah in JESUS, is already with them; The Emmanuel; who did many mighty works and proclaimed GOD’s very words; the manifestation of GOD’s presence,  is none other but JESUS.

Instead they have done this “work of righteousness according to their own understanding” Against the Savior of this world:

• The soldiers took JESUS likened to a heinous criminal, bounded to injustice trial, Him they brought.
• The Officer who stood by struck Him with the palm of his hand after JESUSanswered with His way of reasoning Annas the Father in law of the high priest, despised Him; because he did not believe that He is The LORD.
• Three times Peter denied JESUS; forgotten his promised that whatever happened he will not leave his master; might be for fear of the rulers and the Jews
• They chose the robber Barrabas to be freed instead of Him.

Thus, JESUS has these spoken earlier, unfolding to them of what is about to happen.

These are just the start of the most heartbreaking moment The Son of GOD: the Master and LORD of all, has to endure. The beginning of the road to Calvary, He has to walk on; the sacrifice The LORD did, is all about for His love to our soul; His sufferings pave the way for us the road to eternity; GOD’s wonderful love for you and me.

When He said: I Am he” to those who came to take Him, He knew that it was the time for Him to bear all the shame and sadness all alone by Himself. His obedience to the will of the Father is the purest form of love He has for mankindTaking the accountability of paying the price of the world’s sinfulness; that now we enjoy the blessings of His gift; all of us who:

• accepted His gift of eternal life,
• believe His deed is GOD’s amazing grace,
• call only upon GOD in His Name in prayers,
• Delve Deeper into searching the vastness of His grace through His words, will
• experience the tremendous blessings not only in receiving divers form of grace, but also strength and wisdom in facing challenges.

These all are GOD’s blessings from JESUS CHRIST’s sufferings.

For us all who read the bible and believed, we take heart to these things and highly minded these words which were written for our understanding.

For to us, the gospel of JESUS CHRIST: His crucifixiondeath burial and resurrection answered all of our life after death, even the eternity of our soul’s questions; much more in our life’s everyday problem. He died for my sins and yours, the very reason when He called some of us to serve, we surrendered our will to Him. And I believe many among us here, wanted the same.

The very reason of our persistence to share the gospel to others. Because we knew, that the very essence of the gravity of JESUS deed, is the grievousness of the eternal sufferings all the lost souls has to face. As what it was written in John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

And for our love ones who haven’t come to know the who JESUS the I Am is He, care to pause for a while and ponder on these words we often share: Salvation is made so easy that many don’t believe. `Many wanted to earn their way to God by doing good works or obeying the teachings of old. But from JESUS our LORD, The One who took it all for the sake of this erring world, it is just a decision to call unto GOD in prayer. Confess your sin directly to Him, be committed to Him by accepting the gift of salvation through His Beloved Only Son JESUS which to all He offers, believe that JESUS died on the cross for your sins, been buried for three days and three nights, then resurrected, and after the eyes of five hundred witnesses, He ascended to Heaven and seated on the right hand of the throne of GOD again. Death He conquered, eternity in Heaven is made sure for all who believe in His word and accept Him as personal LORD and Savior.

Thank GOD for JESUS CHRIST our LORD, we have the testimony of His grace even having within ourselves the blessed hope, that we can confidently tell to others these words:

Call unto GOD in prayer in JESUS Name.

Deliverance be upon to you today!

Good morning!

John 18:1-40 KJV

When Jesus had spoken these words, he went forth with his disciples over the brook Cedron, where was a garden, into the which he entered, and his disciples. [2] And Judas also, which betrayed him, knew the place: for Jesus ofttimes resorted thither with his disciples. [3] Judas then, having received a band of men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, cometh thither with lanterns and torches and weapons. [4] Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye? [5] They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he. And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them. [6] As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground. [7] Then asked he them again, Whom seek ye? And they said, Jesus of Nazareth. [8] Jesus answered, I have told you that I am he: if therefore ye seek me, let these go their way: [9] That the saying might be fulfilled, which he spake, Of them which thou gavest me have I lost none. [10] Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it, and smote the high priest's servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant's name was Malchus. [11] Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath: the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it? [12] Then the band and the captain and officers of the Jews took Jesus, and bound him, [13] And led him away to Annas first; for he was father in law to Caiaphas, which was the high priest that same year. [14] Now Caiaphas was he, which gave counsel to the Jews, that it was expedient that one man should die for the people. [15] And Simon Peter followed Jesus, and so did another disciple: that disciple was known unto the high priest, and went in with Jesus into the palace of the high priest. [16] But Peter stood at the door without. Then went out that other disciple, which was known unto the high priest, and spake unto her that kept the door, and brought in Peter. [17] Then saith the damsel that kept the door unto Peter, Art not thou also one of this man's disciples? He saith, I am not. [18] And the servants and officers stood there, who had made a fire of coals; for it was cold: and they warmed themselves: and Peter stood with them, and warmed himself. [19] The high priest then asked Jesus of his disciples, and of his doctrine. [20] Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing. [21] Why askest thou me? ask them which heard me, what I have said unto them: behold, they know what I said. [22] And when he had thus spoken, one of the officers which stood by struck Jesus with the palm of his hand, saying, Answerest thou the high priest so? [23] Jesus answered him, If I have spoken evil, bear witness of the evil: but if well, why smitest thou me? [24] Now Annas had sent him bound unto Caiaphas the high priest. [25] And Simon Peter stood and warmed himself. They said therefore unto him, Art not thou also one of his disciples? He denied it, and said, I am not. [26] One of the servants of the high priest, being his kinsman whose ear Peter cut off, saith, Did not I see thee in the garden with him? [27] Peter then denied again: and immediately the cock crew. [28] Then led they Jesus from Caiaphas unto the hall of judgment: and it was early; and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they should be defiled; but that they might eat the passover. [29] Pilate then went out unto them, and said, What accusation bring ye against this man? [30] They answered and said unto him, If he were not a malefactor, we would not have delivered him up unto thee. [31] Then said Pilate unto them, Take ye him, and judge him according to your law. The Jews therefore said unto him, It is not lawful for us to put any man to death: [32] That the saying of Jesus might be fulfilled, which he spake, signifying what death he should die. [33] Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again, and called Jesus, and said unto him, Art thou the King of the Jews? [34] Jesus answered him, Sayest thou this thing of thyself, or did others tell it thee of me? [35] Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me: what hast thou done? [36] Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. [37] Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice. [38] Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all. [39] But ye have a custom, that I should release unto you one at the passover: will ye therefore that I release unto you the King of the Jews? [40] Then cried they all again, saying, Not this man, but Barabbas. Now Barabbas was a robber.
