John 17:1-8 KJV
[1]These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
[2] As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.
[3] And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

[16] They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
[17] Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

Lesson: Father, The Hour is Come

[4] I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
[5] And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
[6] I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.
[7] Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.

[8] For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.

JESUS has spoken to GOD His Father in His prayer, which was clearly heard, and was inculcated in the mind in His apostles, that it wasword for word written for us to know. Many questioned this: if JESUS is GOD, why did He pray to GOD? Why the need to pray? The answer is simple: if we are close to our loving father, isn’t it our father’s joy that we have an open communication with him, that it is his delight to hear from us all our concerns? He must always talk to His Father about everything, He must know and let Him hear from His Son’s voice, not only for their relation’s sake, but for His disciples to hear; even setting them an example of telling everything to GOD all of our concern. That for this reason also, we all knew from His very own words these truth

1. He is The Son of GOD His Father.
2. He was sent to the world so that the world may know GOD through the words and the works of His Son JESUS CHRIST.
3. He finished all the works He needed to do for people to know:

• for His Father’s glorification; that GOD the Father glorifies His Only Son JESUS CHRIST to whom He gave dominion over all creation.
• for the people may know, that the way to GOD His Father is only through believing in HimJESUS CHRIST the Savior.
• Teaching His disciples His word, even the works that He did, are the signs He is from the Father, He gave them eternal life.
• That after He has done given the word of GOD to His disciples He has given thempower to prove to them that His words are true and that He is the source of all power for them to be able:
➢ To be the witness: to preach and teach the words of JESUS CHRIST: that JESUS is GOD’s Son sent into the world with great power and authority over all.
➢ To continue His works: for His people may believe seeing within them the miraculous healing of the sick, even cause the blind to see
➢ Twrite the new covenant: salvation through GOD’s grace according to the words and works of JESUS CHRIST.

John 17:9-15 KJV
“[9]I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.
[10] And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.
[11] And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
[12] While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
[13] And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
[14] I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. [15] I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.”

JESUS The Son of GOD in His human nature, while He’s with His apostles, and before His crucifixion, pray to GOD His Father this ultimate prayerfor His called out believersin the manner, that His eleven apostles heardbefore they departed to the Garden of Gethsemane; for them to once again hear this particular message to them, and confirm for them also, so that they may convey the truth about Him in their future teachings of His words, these very fact:

• that all may know JESUS CHRIST and GOD His Father are ONE; as He keep on repeating it again and again. And that, all of His Father are His, the same way, all of His apostles, disciples, and all of His believers are His Father’s.
• that all who believed Him are given to Him by the Fatherand that His eyes are on them who answered His call and follow Him.
• that the very reason why He came to this world is for all of us to be one with Him,as He and the Father are one.
• that all the works He did is in accordanceto His Father’s will; that in His obedience He glorify His Father; just as in giving the Father’s words of promise to all who accepted it and believed on it.
• that all of us His believers are keep by the Father from any works of the devil.

John 17:16-23 KJV
[16]They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
[17] Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
[18] As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.
[19] And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.
[20] Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
[21] That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
[22] And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
[23] I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
• The Word: the written word of GOD: this Bible is the truth about GOD, which sanctified all believers from among the world.
• JESUS prayed not only for His disciples who heard and obeyed His words, but for all who take heed and follow His apostles’ teachings.
• All true believers of GOD’s words are one with JESUS, just as He is with His Father. JESUS is the Son GOD: The Only Beloved Son of GOD, that was sent from Heaven to enable mankind attaining the knowledge and understanding about GOD. There should not be contradiction, nor self- interpretation of His words. Because the Bible: GOD’s Holy Word interpret itself.
• We all true believers of CHRIST are loved by GOD through the love of JESUS, and these should manifest through our behavior, our words, even our works; for the world to know the very truth about GOD.

24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.

26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

• This is the blessed hope He wanted for us to know that we have in Him; that because He loves us so, wherever He is, He wanted for us all who believe and put our faith in Him, will be with Him, that we may also behold His glory; after that hour of sufferings is come; and that as He will soon be glorified by His Father, we also, through His sufferings maybe glorified with Him by GOD His Father. This is the love that never wanted us to perish; that wherever JESUS is, we will be with Him also; and that we will fully see the glory that He has and His Father, who love Him since the foundation of the world began.

“Father, the hour is come.” He need not to say it in prayer. But He audibly spoke it, for His disciple to hear; so that after that once- and -for -all – works of suffering of The LORD of Glory has been done, The HOLY SPIRIT will have His disciples be put in remembrance this word of JESUS the Son of GOD, for them to write it; for all of us to know, The LORD knew what He has to face: that sufferings and the sacrifice He has to give. To which we accepted, believed and cleaved in faith. Written also in the teachings of Apostle Paul in Romans 8:16,17

And while as we are waiting for His coming to take us in His Home in Heaven, let us also keep on exercising our faith in Him, that we may be a shining light for others who have not yet accepted the gift of life eternal we have through Him and in Him.

Let His words be continually heard by all people every way possible, while we have time to sound it on.

Thanks GOD in the Name of JESUS CHRIST who have loves us; as how it is written herein, for us to comprehend; so that His love day by day we experience.

All Glory to His Name!

John 14KJV

These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:

As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.

And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.

And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.

Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.

For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.

I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.

10 And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.

11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.

12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

13 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.

14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
