i am weak

August 30, 2017-Wednesday 2017-#463 Daily Morning Bible Reading and Meditation -Psalm 6 KJV

***Have mercy upon me, O LORD ; for I am weak: O LORD , heal me; for my bones are vexed.***

[1] O Lord , rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.

[2] Have mercy upon me, O Lord ; for I am weak: O Lord , heal me; for my bones are vexed.

[3] My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O Lord , how long?

[4] Return, O Lord , deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies' sake.

[5] For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?

[6] I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.

[7] Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all mine enemies.

[8] Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping.

[9] The Lord hath heard my supplication; the Lord will receive my prayer.

Words to ponder for today:

I Am Weak

The agonized pleadings of David from GOD who might have rebuked him in anger, and chasten him  hot displeasure, made him to:
1. Recognized two life's trouble he was into. V.1,2
* "I am weak.
* "my bones are vexed.

2. He Realized why he is into troubles and persecution:
* he have sinned that GOD was in hot displeasure against him. v.1
* he had been in the company of the workers of iniquity. V.8

3. He Repented from his sinful deeds v.6,7
   * he was weary
   * he was groaning
   * he was crying in his bed and could not sleep because of sorrow
4 He Resolved to plead for GOD's mercy and cleave to His Divine protection as He had heard his prayers. V.9,10

   This should be each Christian's guidelines who are caught up and stacked up in troubles caused by sinning:

1. We should wake up Recognizing the troubles we get into:
    Admitting: " I am weak.", "My bone is sore vexed.".

2. We should Realize the damage sin have inflicted;
that it has defiled  our personality, it has discredited our integrity, it has dimmed the clarity to our mentality, and it has degraded our discernment and diminished the power of our spirituality.

3. We should Repent from our sinful deeds and turn our back 180 degrees from sinning.

4. We should be Resolved to plead for GOD's mercy and cleave to His Divine protection;
 That as we earnestly, humbly and sorrowfully prayed for forgiveness, we will full trust Him, and that He will not withhold His forgiveness.
 And even if we are under GOD's rebuke and chastening, we will continue crying for forgiveness, calling Him in prayers and cling to His pardon, mercy and grace.
For non- admittance to sin committed is as worst as unrepentant, and refusing to call Him for mercy and pardon is    as evil thoughts of  unbelief and pride.
As it was written in 1 John 1:8-10 KJV
[8] If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
[9] If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
[10] If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Let us pray:
O, LORD, have mercy on me sinners.  Help me to acknowledge and recognize my weaknesses and fragilities. Bring me up into realization of the sinful deeds, filthiness and iniquities I have committed. Tempered my heart in repentance, that I should learn to humbly kneel down and cry with my voice unto You in prayers. And strengthen my faith so that I will be resolved to call upon You, to cleave unto You and to cast all my cares upon you.
I ask for your tender mercy and bountiful grace which You have given to all who  call, believe and accepted Your Only Begotten Son, our Loving LORD and Savior JESUS CHRIST. This do I pray, in JESUS CHRIST most Holy Name. Amen!

Have a blessed morning!
