August 31, 2017-Thursday-#464 Daily Morning Bible Reading and Meditation-Psalm 7 KJV
***O LORD my GOD, in Thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me:***
[1] O Lord my God, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me:
[2] Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.
[3] O Lord my God, if I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands;
[4] If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy:)
[5] Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take it ; yea, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay mine honour in the dust. Selah.
[6] Arise, O Lord , in thine anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that thou hast commanded.
[7] So shall the congregation of the people compass thee about: for their sakes therefore return thou on high.
[8] The Lord shall judge the people: judge me, O Lord , according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.
Words to ponder for today:
O LORD my GOD, in Thee do I put my Trust
Trust Meaning:
1 a : assured reliance on the character, ability, strength, or truth of someone or something
b : one in which confidence is placed
2 a : dependence on something future or contingent : hope
The Psalmist David Proclaimed here his unwavering trust in His GOD. He even plead GOD for an all time protection to save him from his enemy; who seek nothing but his destruction. He entrusted his life to The Righteous Judge whom he fervently believe, as watching over the righteous day and night, and is angry with the wicked everyday, whose workings are evil. He knows and fully resolved that The GOD who tried the reigns of men,is always watching; that The Omniscient GOD who knows even the secret thoughts of the wicked and even the secret goodness of the righteous man, is wise and shall judge them according to His righteousness. Although there are times the wickedness of men prosper, yet there is a time appointed by GOD to judge every deeds of man whether it be good or bad. And as the end of every wickedness is destruction, so as the end of the righteousness is peace into the resting place where The Righteous GOD prepare for all who believe.
To whom do you put your trust?
In your power? In your possession? In your prosperity? All of these things are temporal and just like the life of every human which has beginning and has an end, so as everything a man have are temporal.
Everything comes from GOD, The Creator and His Only Son JESUS CHRIST, The Giver of life, and The HOLY SPIRIT who leads in all wisdom and gives us understanding.
He should be acknowledged, accepted, and allowed to have His way within the heart of His created human. Everybody should take His words, talk about His love and trust Him with all heart mind soul and spirit.
Let us all put our trust in The LORD our GOD. Let not His deliverance be upon us, while we be found righteously doing His blessed will.
Let us persevere to build our trust in GOD and ONLY n Him.
Jude 1:20-21 KJV
[20] But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
[21] Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
Be blessed!
Psalm 7:1-17 KJV
[1] O Lord my God, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me: [2] Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver. [3] O Lord my God, if I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands; [4] If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy:) [5] Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take it ; yea, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay mine honour in the dust. [9] Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins. [10] My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart. [11] God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day. [12] If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready. [13] He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors. [14] Behold, he travaileth with iniquity, and hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood. [15] He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made. [16] His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate. [17] I will praise the Lord according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the Lord most high.
