My Meditation

August 29, 2017- Tuesday-#462 Daily Morning Bible Reading and Meditation-Psalm 5 KJV

***Give ear to my words, O Lord , consider my meditation.***

[1] Give ear to my words, O Lord , consider my meditation.

[2] Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray.

[3] My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord ; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

[4] For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.

[5] The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

[6] Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the Lord will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.

[7] But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.

Words to ponder for today:

My Meditation

Indeed, it is a great blessings to wake up in the morning; from all night sleeping in peace, and from the comforting embrace of our bed. No two persons are aware of their surroundings and the happenings thereof, that they are unconscious and inable to communicate with each other while they are sleeping. Because when they are in deep sleep, they are totally shut down from the cares and concern of all the worldly life's issues. It is a time of sweet rest for the weary souls; even the worn out physical bodies of every creatures.

Sleeping conveys hope; as the tiring day have ended, so there is a hope for another day which is about to come and be seen.
The same way that, no person go to sleep without thinking of waking up in the morning; even concerns about what it is gonna be for tomorrow.
Sleeping is a blessing created by GOD; for His grace covers both the ignorant and innocent, both the sinners and the saved. Yet as for His loving mercy and protection are with them whom He knows they put their trust in Him.
Herein was written by the Psalmist all of his concern. The voice of his crying are directed unto his LORD; choosing to depend upon his Creator, to confirm his submission and dependance unto The GOD of mercy; affirming His Savior that in the morning as he wakes up, his voice will be heard. Directing his voice in prayers to The LORD of hosts, who have created sleep; The Defender of the righteous, from the them who have pleasures in shedding blood of the innocents, them who are awake in the night, and their feet are swift in devising mischief and wickedness.

As the writer of this psalm is confident that The GOD to whom he put his trust and directed his prayers in each morning, so each of us who fear GOD should also seek Him first in the morning as we wake up; choosing to come in GOD's house where mercy and grace is provided, as we listen to the preachings of His words.  That we may obtain that protection, providence and preservation, that we may also have passion for the lost souls,  as we entrust and submit to Him our all; our heart, mind, strength and soul  .

The LORD JESUS CHRIST has spoken: Matthew 6:33-34 KJV
[33] But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. [34] Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Let us pray:

O, LORD my GOD, let my meditation be acceptable unto your ear, may my prayers be heard, as I seek you each and every morning. I surrender to You all of my weaknesses, my worries, my concerns, my cares, my guilt and my sin. Rule over me and occupy the center of my heart that it will not be overcome by worldly desires. Forgive me if I sometimes gave in and failed.
This is my prayer, in Jesus Christ most holy Name, AMEN!

Psalm 5:1-12 KJV

[8] Lead me, O Lord , in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face. [9] For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue. [10] Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee. [11] But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee. [12] For thou, Lord , wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.
