In peace

August 28, 2017-Monday-#461 Daily Morning Bible Reading and Meditation-Psalm 4 KJV

*** I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord , only makest me dwell in safety.***

[1] Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer. 

[7] Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased. 

[8] I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord , only makest me dwell in safety.

Words to ponder for today:

In Peace

As sons of men love vanity and seek after leasing, put themselves into troubles, anxieties and sleepless night.

The one who seek after GOD, put his trust upon Him and hope in Him, have the peace and confident, that in every trials and oppressions he is facing, the GOD of mercy watch over him. The LORD in Whom he can call with the blessed assurance that His mercy and grace sustain him; and that, after he had pour out himself to His LORD, the moment he had laid his head in bed, the comfort of peace and sweet sleep give his weary soul and body the rest he needed.

That is the blessedness of choosing to believe and to fear GOD. While others who have chosen vain things in refusing to know their Creator, are trying to buy sleep; spending money for lavish and riotous way of life, drinking intoxicating liquor until they are consumed, the peace and sweet sleep the righteous man have, became so elusive for them. Their lives is full of vanities, that their spending much seems to be without contentment. They have no peace within. 

It is so true as these sayings :

Money can buy houses, but not home. 

Money can buy food, but not good health

Money can buy expensive beds, but not sleep.

Money can buy golds and silver, but not peace.

Money can buy friends, but not happiness. 

As the Psalmist had said: [7] Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased. 

This is so true. So for them who seek to be in peace: 

The true gladness only comes from the sweet fellowship with our Creator. 

The true joy only comes from knowing and accepting The Savior..

The peace that flows within is putting all our trust in Him who was rejected and crucified for the redemption of our soul.

Call upon GOD, in the Name of His Son, our LORD JESUS CHRIST. 

Believe His inspired written words The KJV Bible.

Accept the free gift of salvation and be in peace through the sealing of The HOLY SPIRIT.

Romans 10:12-13 KJV

[12] For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 

[13] For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

[2] O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah. [3] But know that the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the Lord will hear when I call unto him. [4] Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah. [5] Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the Lord . [6] There be many that say, Who will shew us any good? Lord , lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us. [7] Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased.
