Thou O, LORD, Are A Shield For Me, The Glory and The Lifter of Mine Head

August 27, 2017-Sunday-#460 Daily Morning Bible Reading and Meditation- Psalm 3 KJV

***But thou, O Lord , art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. ***

[1] Lord , how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me.

[2] Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.

[3] But thou, O Lord , art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.

[4] I cried unto the Lord with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.

[5] I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the Lord sustained me.

[6] I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.

[8] Salvation belongeth unto the Lord : thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.

Words to ponder for today:

Thou, O LORD! Are A shield, The Glory and Lifter of Mine Head

Herein this chapter, conveys to us readers the strength of the Psalmist, David, who have been into divers troubles even from his youth, and all along his way to kingship.
But in the midst of an increasing troubles that should have intimidated him, is a source of strength and the confidence that The GOD whom he have trusted since childhood is still GOD who Protects him from his enemies, Provides a way to scape and the providential grace he had needed while he was fleeing from his enemy who chased him like a fugitive, and Preserves him for the glorious triumphant His LORD had prepared for him.
He not only became a great, significant and mighty king of Israel, but was granted to be the earthly forefather of The Son of GOD, JESUS CHRIST, who have came to live in the lowliest form of man,the most meek person,  yet marvelous and miraculous  power have He been done by Him, for all to believe He is the promised One who should come.
Matthew 1:1 KJV
[1] The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.

Though He died the most shameful death, yet overcomes death by His resurrection; as His power was never conquered by His death, but His death on the cross and His resurrection conquered  death that provided salvation of even the most sinners who have come to Him, believe on Him and accept Him as His personal LORD and Savior. They are the true Christian believers who are more than conquerors through His love for them.

Christians, arise!
As we are saved by an incorruptible blood of The LORD, let the world hear us speaking, singing and shouting; Thou O, LORD, are a shield, the glory and the lifter of mine head!

As we have the name of our LORD and Savior JESUS CHRIST among us, let Him be glorified as we live a victorious lives, humbly, meekly and undefiled in His sight. That we may obtain the crown He has prepared for His faithful servants.

Apostle Paul has written for our admonition: Romans 8:16-18 KJV
[16] The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
[17] And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him , that we may be also glorified together.
[18] For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Do you have The Spirit of Christ dwell in you now, for you to shout out this praises?; But Thou,O, LORD, are a shield for me,the glory and the lifter of mine head!

If unsure or do not know but want to, just follow and do just as the sinner had repentantly did; as he was on the right side of The LORD, while he too is hanging on his cross before his death.

Accept that you are a sinner and is unable to save yourself from the penalty of sin. Romans3:10,23
Believe that JESUS CHRIST is The Only Way, The Truth and The Life, and no one can come unto the Father but by Him. John 14:6, John 3:16, Romans 6:23
Call in prayers to GOD, through His Only Son JESUS CHRIST and Cast all your cares upon Him for He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

Be saved today!

Good morning!

Psalm 3:1-8 KJV

[1] Lord , how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me. [2] Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah. [3] But thou, O Lord , art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. [4] I cried unto the Lord with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah. [5] I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the Lord sustained me. [6] I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about. [7] Arise, O Lord ; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly. [8] Salvation belongeth unto the Lord : thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.
